That’s scary about your DGD’s school. So sobering.

Remember to fill your fuel tank at C0stc0 as it's the cheapest around (although you may have to queue). Only members can use their filling station.

What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Thanks Satchmo…..we have an electric car but used to fill up at Costco when we had the old car. I’m going with a friend though and I’ll ask her if she wants to fill up.
Today I’ve been sorting and dressing the bedrooms, now most of the decorating stuff has been put away. I never actually put the excess bedding away after the family were here at half term, so that has been sorted. I’ve put one of the grandchildren’s Z beds up as a bed and the other left folded as a headboard wrapped in a throw. It looks ok. I did all the washing late last night and nipped down a couple of time in the night to put the dryer on….making use of the cheap electricity whilst the car was on charge and the overnight cheap rate. I’ve ironed what needed ironing whilst catching up with Corrie. Dh finished the last bit of gloss painting in the hall. I think all we want to do now is the kitchen window ledge - it looks a bit sorry for itself and could do with a spruce up.
Before I go out tomorrow I want to put some V@nish carpet cleaner on the stairs then I can Hoover it when I get home. I’ve cleaned the rest of the carpets with my Vax carpet cleaner but it doesn’t have accessories to clean the stairs. Then I think it’ll look presentable enough to get it values.

Dh has been putting his trains in their original boxes and the next big job will be taking all his track up 😳😳😳I suspect there will be quite a lot when we see it gathered together. I know I got a shock when I saw how much wool I had…..I reckon I could crochet every day and never need to buy anymore. Once I’ve finished the throws I’m making for the gks and the couple of cardigans I need to finish I’m going to make a baby blankets for charity. I’m sure they’ll be a charity somewhere that could make use of them.
