Thank goodness you acted quickly. Hopefully the blister won’t turn nasty. I used bio oil, recommended by the hospital, on my ankle when I had the op and the scars healed brilliantly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thanks everyone. The blister popped during the night and I used good old sudocrem….its loads better now. Still got a couple of red marks but I’m sure they’ll fade as they aren’t sore. I still can’t believe how lucky I was and that I had my trainers on and not bare feet as is often the case.
We’re going away on Sunday and am out tomorrow so I’ve been having a major tidy. I hadn’t realised how much veg I had in so I’ve been chopping and blanching it to freeze. No intention of wasting any of it….too expensive and the farmers have worked hard to produce it 👍
Rightio…..I’ll probably check in after the hols.January spends - £587.584 -

Not sure where time has gone. We had a great time in Wales and are getting ready to go off again on Monday. This time to London. Then we’ll be at home 10 days before another weekend away.Spends have been ok…some spends but nothing too drastic.
Im going to see The Salt Path with a friend tomorrow. I enjoyed the book so hopefully the film will be as good…..if nothing else I’m hoping to see lots of lovely Cornwall. I think it’s the 1 year I haven’t been there. It’s my favourite place but a long journey.January spends - £587.584 -
Not been to Cornwall for many years sadly. We used to go a lot when the kids were little.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
