I had a better night last night - not quite as wheezy. I’ll hang off making an appointment with the GP a few more days and hope it clears itself again.
Dh treated himself to an amplifier (cash from recommending a friend to Wi-Fi provider) 😳😳😳😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 for his ukulele. Think I might move into Millie Motorhome 😂😂😂 Anyway it didn’t fit where he thought it would go and he was a bit gutted and was going to send it back. Why didn’t I let him 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🙄😂😂😂- anyway I suggested a different place under a table and it fits so I have a happy hubby 😁 What was I thinking 😏…..great if you live in a big mansion or have a man shed at the bottom of the garden but we live in a small semi. At least I can switch my hearing aids off….I pity  the neighbours.
I’ve had a lazy morning finishing my book in bed. I’ve been reading it since I went to dds last October and couldn’t get into it at all. But I think it’s a throw back from my school days - if I start a book I have to finish it. Wouldn’t recommend it….an American FBI type story I picked up at the book swap at dds train station.
I want to do some number crunching and might nip into town later if it ever stops raining. Could be worse though I was looking at the snow in Scotland on tv and pleased it wasn’t here.
I’m making 2 chillies for tea. A very mild one for me and a spicier one for Dh. I’ll freeze the remainder hoping that if Dh ever warms them up he looks at the labels and doesn’t give the hot one as he did after I’d come out of hospital once and I’d left lots of pre made meals in the freezer.
It’s been so quiet here since everyone went home. It’s been a mixture of very nice yet lonely at moments. Think the very nice is winning though 😁

Could DH use his new amp & ukulele in Millie Motor home, it would be further from the neighbours 😁

Good to hear you're feeling better, I hope you recover quickly.

Glad the very nice is winning through.

Good idea BB but the motorhome is right in front of the house so it wouldn’t make any difference. It wasn’t as loud as I expected when he tried it last night….😁
He told his boss yesterday he finally wants to finish work. He is giving them chance to find and train somebody up so it could still be a while. Think it’ll take some getting used to for both of us. I’ll be very surprised if he doesn’t go and help them out from time to time….watch this space.
I haven’t been out of the house since my visitors left on Wednesday (I did go to sw straight after they went….but pay for that from incidental cash) nothing else has been spent. I didn’t get around to looking at ISAs…..it’ll get sorted next week. I’ve actually enjoyed not dashing about this week . I need to work out a balance of staying in and dashing around. I felt I was meeting myself coming backwards before we went away so I’m not surprised I succumbed to the lurgy. I’m going back to aqua on Monday but am limiting myself to 2 sessions a week…..it was too much doing more.

We went to a local NT yesterday.Twas very windy. We had a little walk around and saw several deer which were beautiful…just strolling past as we were sitting having a rest. From there we went to a pub in the village next to the park to use some Mr T vouchers. We had £57 worth of food via the vouchers and Dh paid for the drinks and small amount left to pay - £20 altogether - not bad for 3 of us to have main course and 2 puddings. I shared with ds as we were both full. My drink was a lime and soda so I’m a cheap date 😂 As we were walking in, there was a massive conifer which was really creaking and cracking. The waitress came around all the tables asking everyone to move their cars to the far side of the carpark as one of the branches from the tree had come down 😳 Anyway dh and ds moved the car and a massive branch was on the floor not far from it 😳😳By the time we’d eaten the meal and headed outside to go home they’d had somebody come and take the remaining big branch down. It was length  of the carpark….glad I wasn’t walking past as it went. The stump left was as tall as the pub so it was a sizeable tree.
This morning the sun was shining so we took a chance and headed to the local RHS - only the walled gardens were open. Anything near any trees had been fenced off. There was a plant sale and I could have gone mad. I did give in to a couple of Alpines. I had a £5 voucher for the cafe so we had a cuppa and shared a cake…..we’re trying hard to cut down on sweet things. From there we went to see SIL….least said about that the better. It’s so hard - you can’t help somebody who doesn’t want to help themselves. I’m shattered now though as for some unknown reason I’d tossed and turned until after 3.30 this morning 🤷🏻‍♀️
Haircut in the morning at 8.30 so I need to be up and ready. I forgot to go to the cash machine so I’ll have to pop the cash in to her later…she is a neighbour so it should be fine. I should be going to aqua but I’m really tired and I might cancel. Right night night - I’m off to bed.

It sounds like you had a great time and it was very lucky the branch didn’t squash any cars.
i hope your haircut goes well 😁

Hair is cut and I got my cash and dropped it into her. No need for her to write my name on the windows now 😁
I went to aqua which I enjoyed. There were a lot of roadworks on the way home so I drove the scenic route which was quite nice….past my old school and friends houses from my youth. I haven’t been around that area for a long time. I called for a bit of shopping on my way home so £10 spent. I’m just having my dinner watching catch up tv then I’m hoping to do a bit in the garden if the rain stays off.
