The cake is amazing.
Sorry to hear you have been ill. There seems to be a lot of colds and flu bugs going around at the moment. Our office sounds like a hospital ward!1 -
Oh milann that cake is just beautiful - how clever are you!
What a shame your trip away was interrupted with you not being well - it's always a nuisance when things like lurgies decide to invite themselves on holiday with you isn't it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

The cake is absolutely brilliant. I’d be scared to ruin it by cutting it 😆
Sorry to hear you’ve been unwell on your break away.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -
Thanks for the compliments on the cake. It is actually a really easy cake to do once you get the hang of it. It’s one of my favourite ones to do but it must be 20 years since I last did one.I’ve been chatting to Dd today and they should be arriving here on Saturday afternoon for a few days, but since Dh has now started with the lurgy she is debating whether or not to come. I’m hoping she will…..she might put it off until Sunday. They’re going away for a night on Monday night and I’m looking forward to having the gks to myself on Tuesday so hopefully Dh will pick up tomorrow. He drives me mad - you practically have to force feed him any medication. But he’s getting lem slip equivalent every 4 hours whether he likes it or not.
I went food shopping today. The bill came to £116 and I paid…….£11 😄😄😄👍👍👍 I wish that would happen every time. I still had over £100 on the Christmas savings card I’d saved on last year but didn’t use much of it as we went to dds. I then called to M@rrisons to get a whole salmon. It said £21 on the ticket- I also bought some GF bread and yoghurt…..my bill came to £16. Not sure what was going on there….must be something to do with the loyalty card. I do wish they’d show the correct prices of things. But between the 2 shops I think I got a good haul.
Going to the shops is all I did and I’m shattered. Early night again for me….it’s what I do best these days 🙄
