Watty's Awakening

I doubt it @Humdinger1 She is quite a difficult sort to deal with, very nice when all going her way but very single minded about living the life she wants regardless of her neighbours.
To be fair if PennysintoPounds had not nudged me I think I would just have not bothered just fretted about it and let my anxiety and dread overwhelm me but tackling the issue was ok - and - thank you all so much for cheering me on. That was so kind and really helped me.
Gifted another item from tack room clear out - a bottle of purple glitter paint for ponies and a brush - it is non toxic, safe to use - the glitter is more sparkle than actual glitter - and is now on its way to a young girl to paint her pony with. There was a lot of laughter in the gifting and a warning that mum is not entirely delighted with the gift but I promised it does wash off. I'm so glad this item found a home, it is from the times of PPH and one of his female friends bringing their granddaughter to play here. I bought the paint as the child was to see the ponies but the child was not allowed the paint, the woman thought it was silly as did PPH and his friend barely spoke to me.
So it is with great joy the paint will bring laughter and happiness and a miserable memory turned into something else. Hopefully a picture of pony decorated with purple glitter paint will find its way here in time.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In other news fencing has been delivered along with a new gate. Now to get fencer to get a date in the diary to do the actual work as currently £775 fencing sitting on drive. Gate has been moved out of site in the meantime!

love the fact a miserable memory is now going to be happier. I hope the kid sends you a picture of their glitter pony to cement the happier memory in place.

I for one am glad you are shot of PPH - what a misery - who wouldn't like glitter on their ponies - sounds perfectly reasonable to me!

You realise we'll need a picture of the glittery pony?

Aw yay you, look what you can do when you let brave Watty take charge of things so fearful Watty doesn't have to worry 🥂
I am now fully picturing PPH in my minds eye as a child's drawing looking scowly and saying 'boo' with his thumbs pointed down, with you with the horses and WattyDog on the other side of the page looking cheery and saying 'hurrah' with your arms up in celebration and there is sparkly glitter scrawled all over it ❤️✨️

perhaps I should actually draw that out PiP. It would be fun :)
Bat survey tonight. And then we should have everything ready to go when the biodiversity requirements for small single properties is lifted later this year.
One item from barn clear out sold so will get that posted off (£11.25 into my account) Have sent that to the ISA. I've a few spends coming up so nice to send free money into the ISA as it might be a while until earnt money makes it that way.
Dinner planned, still using up so tonight will be a borlotti bean and chestnut stew. I don't have borlotti beans but I have quite a few cans so will substitute something else from the cupboard I'm slowly working through which is where I've found the chestnuts and a tiny bottle of red wine for the stew. Will serve with mash and a green veg, not really spring fare but really want to get the cupboards and freezer to the point I buy what I need. Not enough wine for stew and a glass - but - I've realised that drinking is making my meds less effective as my mood sinks when I have a couple of glasses so have stopped drinking over the last month and that has helped mood.

We've had curry for lunch 😂 It was supposed to be salad but it's not feeling very Spring-like at all here in the Shire.
