I haven't send the message yet @PennysIntoPounds I get anxious just thinking about it. I will do it today though. I have to do it today.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Finished the bank holiday weekend off nicely. VNM made some homemade weedkiller as we had all the stuff, and sprayed the brick patio in the middle of the lawn and it seems to be working. Will need to get that patio repointed though. Finding a bricklayer is now on the "to do list"
Then we pulled everything out of the 'tack room' which also works as a garden shed (I don't actually keep my saddles in there as I worry about theft) and cleaned it out. Then sorted and put back. OMG the amount of "stuff" If it were not for the VNM I would have been completely overwhelmed. He did most of the putting away whilst I sorted into piles. I have filled all the bins here now (3 days till one gets emptied), have a pile of stuff to do a tip run, have given away stuff to pals and have stuff to sell which I will get to when I have the energy to 'cope with people' I sent photos to a chat group of 6 girlfriends and asked if they wanted various items and most got snaffled up which was a nice way of recycling and we have a coffee shop date next weekend so I can fill the car and hand over items.

Nudged by PIP I sent a whats app to Mrs Laurel Hedges re the ivy. Explained as nicely as I could i wanted it to stay and she has agreed - other - than one area. I am guessing she wants to plant that up so I agreed there it could come out as I can probably unpick it from the fence if need be. The rest of it can stay. I agreed it was awful but said on balance it looked better alive than dead. (Hopefully she will think about that).
Phew. Proud of self for tackling this.

Bravo for both tackling the Tack room (that sounded like an epic …) and sending the WhatsApp. You should be proud of yourself for tackling both of these 😊
