Aw bless WattyDog. Definitely money well spent!
Are you keeping a gratitude journal? Or is that sounds a bit cheesy, a notebook where you can jot down lovely things like WattyDog joy and being the best part of a little girl's day? Not a cure-all but might help to be able to glance at it when feeling low and be reminded of feeling not as low?

@PennysIntoPounds that is a really great idea. I did have one but got completely derailed and just stopped but I’m going to find my notebook and start again because there are moments of joy in a day and general gloom pervades so it might be a nice counter balance
Hormone doctor wants a blood test done. GP can’t do for 3 months as not a priority. I think this is because she is private really so booked a private test for £29 and £49 for the actual test for this afternoon.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Blood test ✅ lovely clinic with gentle classical music playing, ran to time, easy to park and charming staff. A worthwhile spend to get the blood test done promptly.

Last session with private counsellor I have NHS one so we finished up. I liked her but have some doubts about how helpful that really was. Although it was good to talk through the trauma and somehow process that stuff. Now will save £65 a week which is a considerable saving.
