Neighbour keeps parrots and also runs a boarding ?? parrot hotel ??? Apparently cardboard is fabulous for parrots, treats can be hidden in small boxes so it acts as mental stimulation and the larger boxes are for hiding in and then when that game is over shredding which helps maintain their beaks and gives them something to chew and make nests and play with the shredded mess. My business generates quite a lot of used cardboard as stock comes in it, stationery comes in it and so on so we fill the car from time to time and drop it off. She used to struggle to get enough but since my business has grown I apparently keep her nicely supplied
She has so many of the birds that apparently you need ear defenders to visit the rooms they live in, she also does parrot rescue. Delightfully eccentric and a really kind person. (I drop off cardboard, she spends a happy few evenings stripping off the gluey tape, plastic stickers etc and the parrots then spend time happily shredding it so wins all round ).
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I've almost run out of perfume, I don't wear it often but one of my goals this year was about feeling fabulous (hence all the health stuff) and after a quick look on the web all the ones I used to use are no longer made. I said out loud that I would love some perfume but I really don't have time to go shopping to try out new ones.
Yesterday a box arrived with a heat protector spray I had bought for my wig so I can curl it, and, in the box were a couple of "freebie samples" One is a very generous sized sample bottle of perfume - which - I tried out and LOVE.
Looking on line, I discover that the store that sent it has some "Christmas packs" of this so just after Christmas I will check the sales (google informs me the shop usually has a very good January sale).
A tiny thing but it has made me very happy - and - convinced me once again there is something in this manifestation idea (so thank you all those on here that introduced me to it)

All gifts sorted by the local village and gift bags purchased so i can wrap and label and then be done with it. I am not overly fond of the Christmas Gift idea but am happy to buy those who really help out gifts, so FellPony person has a hand made Christmas Cake which looks beautiful from the village "made locally" shop, bestie has a hand wash and hand cream and bag of horse treats, neighbour has a bag of horse treats and a journal.
The only gift I'm really happy to buy however was a tin of chocolates for the elderly lady who lives opposite back gate. I will sign it "From WattyDog". I bought it because Sunday she had no treats for him, got in her car and went and bought precooked chicken so he could have a treat. He loves her -or -does he love the chicken? Whatever I thought I would leave her a gift on her doorstep at Christmas from WattyDog (she sometimes gifts me wine for no real reason which is so sweet of her).Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
