You should be able to get a replacement glass for the combi oven. They are all a standard size and the same toughened stuff. Just the patterns on the glass and the fixings differ between them. eBay would be my first port of call with the model number. I would also look to replace the rubber seal and if it is that type, the heat-proof rope around where you seat the glass. All doable with patience and a few tools (and much easier if you take the door off to do it!)
Good to hear about the improvements in Watty Dog - better than Mr SL, whose back starts hurting at this point in the yearSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2234.63/£3000 or 74.49% of my annual spend so far (not going to be much of a Christmas at this rate as no spare after 9 months!
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread

Thanks for the tips @Suffolk_lass Will be investigating as would be great to have that restored. So sorry to read about Mr SL back - Wattydog sends sympathies as do I.
@daisy_1571, @greenbee, @Cherryfudge, @beanielou, @Humdinger1 WattyDog is delighted to receive good wishes - do they come with fresh chicken? He is now able to play ball and stick with the old lady over the lane and has returned to barking at the gate to let her know he is about!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Not only fresh chicken but also a stick of gate-blocking dimensions. Rock on, WattyDog!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Thanks, it is lovely but I have discovered the joy in living with him too. Before all this happened he was a lovely dog but one that PPH left behind and that I was against getting all those years ago. Now I have possibly the nicest temperament, biggest daftest obsessive German Shepherd and I am very lucky to have him in my life. It took all this for WattyDog to become, not just a nice dog I lived with but genuinely MY dog.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
