This morning was the first morning I followed it to the letter and here we are 5 mins past 8 and I have dusted off my planner/diary and filled in for the remainder of this week and to the end of March so I know what is coming up and I feel a lot less anxious than I have for a long time. being clear about what is coming up for me helped lower anxiety levels.DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... Thank you for all the comments. I really appreciate them. I love this forum for the 'thinking it out' and sensible comments that come back in a way real world never does.
Have decided every course sale now can mean a payment into my steadily falling pension fund. Much better to put into your pension fund when it is down than to wait until it is really high & about to go down. This is why they recommend having savings to use rather than drawing from your pension at certain times.5
