Giving myself a shake, yes, I am still struggling but lets be really positive for a moment. The new cleaner has done a second week, clearly is happy here and I'm happy with the work so all good.
Today was first day of teaching the course. I celebrated by moving the rest of the money into pension pot. My mental health might be struggling but I am going to give myself credit for this win. I have put a nice little extra sum in the pension pot as a result of the time and effort invested in the course.
The volunteer role I'm going to ditch later this year also paid £450 for attending meetings and project work undertaken over the last 4 months so that will get sent to ISA. They paid £50 for attending the meeting online as opposed to £180 if I had actually gone to London - but - I feel that my mental health really benefitted from me staying home and sometimes it is a toss up between being able to do something rather than nothing.

Wise choice on the WFH instead of putting yourself through extra stress. Well done on the extra towards the pension pot, too, from your very own course. I see you as rising towards the level you were meant to reach, it's so heartening to see it.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Aww thank you @Cherryfudge that is so kind of you to say that.
Inexpensive day today as food was pre-planned. I rode Most Handsome who made me laugh and who is getting so much better behaved now with regular work and have been for a blood tests so emailed the hormone doctor for a follow up appointment as they should get results soon. Am hoping that this might be a 'simple fix'.
Now to tidy the office and binge watch a bit of Downton Abbey before bed (I'm watching the whole series on N/flix)Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Think the plan might be working. This morning was the first morning I followed it to the letter and here we are 5 mins past 8 and I have dusted off my planner/diary and filled in for the remainder of this week and to the end of March so I know what is coming up and I feel a lot less anxious than I have for a long time. being clear about what is coming up for me helped lower anxiety levels.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

State of mind slowly improving. Am being more mindful of what I eat too having cut down the sugar. I think that has helped although was waylaid by a large bag of M&M the VNM had stashed in the fridge.
Looking for the positives, the day was sunny (even if the wind was so cold). The log burner has kept downstairs warm. A slow cooker dinner made for an easy dinner. Charming Cob and I went out, he was so keen for his walk, he marched on, argued with me when I wanted to stop so we could give way to cars and even consented to go past the pig he hates. He identified that another pig had moved in locally by standing and staring until I realised, acknowledged he was super brave for not making a fuss and then marched on. This afternoon I prepped the next session for course and sent slides over to my virtual PA.
I've had a few people asking to join the course having heard about it on the "grapevine". I'm not sure what to do, I'd like to signpost them to the next intake, but, if they sign up now and do it now will get another little bonus for pension pot. Thinking that over. Comments on that welcomedMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Sounds like a good day, and you clearly have a great relationship with CC.
Re. the additional requests for the course. How many people? Is it manageable with those already signed up - do you have a limit on numbers? And have you already started? If not, give them a choice between planned start date and next intake. If you're already started this course, then definitely point them to the next one as people joining after the start will be disruptive.5 -
How long will it be until you do your next course? They may have lost interest by that point. How much bother is it that they won't have done the first part of the course? Will this hold you back/pee off the others who may be held back due to others catching up?If it won't be too difficult to integrate them into the course, take the money and let them in.Anything they pay now you'll be able to put into the pension for this year.Make £2025 in 2025
