One of the interesting things that I've noticed with organising and decluttering, including the huge arty stash, is that once you get everything organised and then look at it all, you realise just how much you don't actually need!I must have given away and/or sold 50% of my stash and not once have I thought "If only I had kept that!".What has happened, is that I've become far more creative using only what I have left, apart from having to make one recent purchase of acrylic paints because I had totally run out, but not before I cut the tubes open and got every last bit of paint out! I'm an absolute terror when it comes to using every last scrapI'm thrilled today as I passed the halfway mark for my make £2025 in 2025. I started this year because I achieved the £2024 for this year and did a full declutter of the house with now only 1 large black plastic bag remaining of items left to sell before I'm clutter FREE!The plus side to all the selling and decluttering is that if I'm not packing sold items to send, I'm being creative so I'm only going out once a week to get all my weekly shop and or monthly one off bulk buys of households, which means I have 6 NSD's a week - Now there's frugal TBH, I absolutely hate shopping at the best of times so it's a reliefI've also found that people can get really nasty and stressed out online and in shops during December, so when I am able to, I prefer to go weekly food shopping after 9pm as there's usually very few people around and I have the shop to myself I can be done and dusted and in my PJ's all within 30 minutes - Now that's my kind of shoppingWell it's getting late and I need to try and get a little sleep......toodle pip for now xxxxNSD 2025 Challenge: 0/365 [Begins 01/01/2025]Make £2025 in 2025 Challenge: £1786.05 / £2025 [Began October 2024] - Clutter FREE Home 21/11/20241p A Day Savings Challenge 2025: £59.79 / £667.95 [Began October 2024]£10 A Month Savings Challenge 2025: £90 / £780 [Began October 2024]Save £12k in 2025 Challenge: £2689.28 / £12,000 [Began October 2024-2]Save on Household Expenses Challenge 2025: £2138.76.76 / £2000 [Began October 2024]Debt Free & Proud 14 October, 20239

I agree! And still we are told it is the "Season of Goodwill". Stressed Christmas shoppers do not exude goodwill.

Stressed Christmas shoppers do not exude goodwill.- Bah Humbug!TBH it's already started with people getting stressed out on the roads and the atmosphere has changed drastically since the beginning of this month. I went out to drop off a Yodel parcel this evening and in every house I went past there was one room with one small light on and you could hear a pin drop out on the street, it's that subdude and quite - Very eerie The calm before the storm....BTW, for anyone selling items online, delivery times have been extended from the average of 2-3 days for all couriers to 3-5 days with RM only counting their Tracked Services from when a parcel reaches a major sorting depot / hub. So a Tracked 48 parcel can take 5-7 working days to be delivered - you might as well send standard parcel without the extra tracking cost, as parcels arrive around the same time..... Disgraceful! It's late and I need my beauty sleep, although I'm not seeing much benefit let alone any signs of results!Night. night and toodle-pip all xxxxxxNSD 2025 Challenge: 0/365 [Begins 01/01/2025]Make £2025 in 2025 Challenge: £1786.05 / £2025 [Began October 2024] - Clutter FREE Home 21/11/20241p A Day Savings Challenge 2025: £59.79 / £667.95 [Began October 2024]£10 A Month Savings Challenge 2025: £90 / £780 [Began October 2024]Save £12k in 2025 Challenge: £2689.28 / £12,000 [Began October 2024-2]Save on Household Expenses Challenge 2025: £2138.76.76 / £2000 [Began October 2024]Debt Free & Proud 14 October, 20236

I've been away for 5 weeks and I do spend much of that time crafting so here's my list:
69 cards
24 crochet angels
6 bags (Halloween, veggie & shopping- 2 of each)
22 pyramids
1 baby bootee! (hurt shoulder so haven't yet managed to knit the partner!)
total = 122
I haven't added these to my signature- yet
10 of the pyramids have gone off to a craft fair taking place over the weekend
sold 28 of the cards (they were ordered) + 20
also sold 24 angels (also ordered)
About to start on the duvet factory. I haven't had any duvets for a while but it's like buses- wait for one and they all come! I duvet collected, 2 in a friend's garage and 4 each in 2 friend's sheds!
Grooming parlour wants some completed duvets to sell as she only has one left........
What will I be doing over the next few weeks?? Answers on a postcard please......
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything! --
Many thanks

Katie you have been busy!!
I had a minor disaster on Friday and discovered one of the cupboards in the house is damp. Thankfully only one thing ruined- a pad of paper. Everything else was in plastic boxes. It prompted a big sort out and I've promptly spent all weekend sewing and sorting out ready to sew.
I finally put together a leggings pattern for my son in the next size up, and have finished off a pair of PJs (I'd done the top but not the bottoms), made a whole set of PJs, and made the leggings for the Christmas performance costume (a sheep this year).
Waiting to be sewn: bunting (not to be counted as I slipped and bought some...), the fluffy sheep top, the sheep hood, 2 more pairs of PJs (Christmas ones) and a Christmas t shirt. The Christmas t shirt isn't quite all cut out as I think alternate colour sleeves would look better, but haven't decided which colour yet. It is a good job I got myself in gear and cut things out... this is the last year I can get both PJ leggings and top out of 1m of fabric!!! It was a very tight squeeze.
I also made two packs of gift tags for the craft stall.
Photo of one of the PJ sets- a lovely soft fabric this one, sewed up very nicely (better than the leggings for the other set!)
