Does anyone know anything about the UKCA/CE testing that needs to be done before you can sell toys/toy like things?

We were thinking of getting round to selling some cuddly crochet items previously made but then saw you needed to do testing.

Well, it’s November later this week and I’ve fallen back into my bad old ways and just getting round to posting my September makes and in the meanwhile you have all been busy beavers.
@emsi_b, I love the wee dress – I want one too!
@Katiehound, your “24 crochet angels, 73 cards , 6 spectacle cases, one veggie bag and a few more inches of the crochet knee blanket,” had me singing along to the tune of the 12 days of Christmas! Thanks for that; I’ve been smiling to myself ever since. You’ve been busy again, I see, with bags and lavender bags.
@soontobeoap, you are persevering so well with rescuing those clothes, you deserve a good result! I’d have given up at the first setback! Good luck with getting a refund for the useless dye. Those elves are adorable; I love that they seem to have their own we personalities. I hate sewing up, too, btw, so can I send mine to you, lol? You always have great ideas for your craft club and you’ve done it again with the angels and gnomes.
@sammy_kaye18, I have just read about your FIL. My hear goes out to your family. From what you say, crafting is what is going to be your safe space for a while, so enjoy it to the full.
@old_fogey, congrats on decluttering some craft stuff. I wish I were at that stage. You made a great job revamping that wee chest.
@AlwaysAllie, those decorations and bags are beautiful.
@Auti, your cardi is beautiful. I like top down work because it means I don’t have any sewing up!
@Dizzycap, great job on decluttering, no spending and helping out charities.
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger, that set looks really cosy, Well done.

Your makes look beautiful. I love the wooden little signs too.
Well I have been AWOL for a while.
Husband and son went to Spain and the minute they left my FIL took a turn and the morning they were due to fly home he sadly passed. Everything that they wanted to say was said before they left so they were at peace and he kept telling them to go on their trip so they did what he wished. He is due to be cremated this Monday so the last two weeks have been a bit of a blur with phone calls, reassurance and checking in on MIL and SIL whilst husband is focusing on work to keep his mind busy. So needless to say this Christmas is going to be a bit different. MIL is adamant she's not celebrating but we will see what happens nearer the time.
So I am going to throw myself into some crafting. I have asked MIL for some of my FIL shirts when she eventually gets to going through his things and I will make them all a cushion cover with his tshirts for them each.
But setting some goals for November so I need to focus on......- A birthday card for my mother for the end of November.
- A birthday gift for my mother!
- Find and plan a cross stitch bookmark as a Christmas present
- Research how to make soup cossies and start making some!
- Mend sons work trousers.
- Make a start on christmas cards. - 4 cross stitched to finish, 2 to make
- Finish my daughters knotted edge quilt
- Try and find some gifts on vinted/preloved etc
