Does anyone know anything about the UKCA/CE testing that needs to be done before you can sell toys/toy like things?

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/toys-safety-regulations-2011/toys-safety-regulations-2011-great-britain - but that seems to apply to toy manufacturers rather than small-scale crafters

This may be more useful as a starting point: https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/help-centre/further-info/cp-toy-safety-declaration.html

We were thinking of getting round to selling some cuddly crochet items previously made but then saw you needed to do testing.

Can't find too much online that's not behind a pay wall 🙄
If you are on Social Media there is apparently a very good/active FB group that are great with advice re testing.  Sorry I can’t link it.
