Thank you coxy for organising the exchange again, even with you being super busy, excellent news on the house, i wish you all the best for the future. The craft fairs sound awesome.

I am lagging behind this year and not started my card yet, but it will be done on time i promise. I'm crocheting a christmas jumper, first ever purchased pattern, i love the design but hate the construction too many colour changes, however it is very cute and funny.

I've finished my cardfront (had to stop myself automatically popping on to post a pic 😆) but still have to join it to the card bit

    Good luck coxy

Congratulations Coxy. I hope you will be really happy in your new home. Exciting new beginning especially on the work front. Well done to you and your mum for the craft fair.
We have yet to exchange and complete even though we’ve moved!  :/
I have finished April and started May on the HSC sampler but have chosen design for exchange. So funny that you nearly posted a TaDa Daisy.

Yay! Two more additions to the CCE for 2024 - @Wraithlady and @foxandflowers :)

I will email everyone over the weekend to share details of who to send to.

Just thinking about when to send, how does the first week of December sound ie. week commencing 2 December. Should be fine to use 2nd class postage and be received in plenty of time as we are all UK addresses  :)

just to say I am busy stitching (and unstitching) for the CCE and I should be finished for the first week in December :)  have to snatch moments but must say I am enjoying it - still to work out how to turn into a card but that appeals to my problem solving mind :)

    Morning all!

I have PM'd you all to say who you are stitching for this year. I suggested sending w/c 2 December by 2nd class post but please don't stress if you need to send later. We all understand that life gets in the way of our crafting (booooo!).

Oh and if you wanted a laugh, I can tell you that the first truckload of our house move left yesterday whilst I was at work and they took all my clothes and underwear as DH clearly wasn't listening when I told him they needed to leave the spare room (aka my dressing room) alone. Thank god for late night Tesco and F&F clothing   :|

    Have a good weekend all

    Thanks Coxyreceived with thanks.
I’m glad you got round the truck taking away your clothes. I did laugh though but because you’d clearly told DH and he didn’t listen! How do they do that?
I’m still missing teapot lid, reeds for reed diffusers, spare strap for my Fitbit and I packed, moved AND unloaded it so nobody to blame but me!
on our side small flurry of paperwork this week so fingers crossed 🤞🏼 land registry can expedite their end as it’s a house sale.

Afternoon all, finally the universe has aligned and I got a few stitches on the dragon this afternoon.   The light is not as good these days huh?  Definitely noticed a difference between half 12 light and 2 o'clock light.  Its forecast a good few sunny days over the next week so hopefully I'll get a bit more done.  I'm going to concentrate on the neck I think

    Morning all!

Dragon is looking good @daisy_1571 - love the colours x

Hope you are making progress with your sale @Charly27 x

My CCE piece is coming on - I will do a bit more tonight and will spend time making up into a card at the weekend ready to post on Monday. We are lucky to have a PO in the local Londi$ which is open until 7pm! I will also tot up what other cards I will be posting and buy the stamps for those at the same time.

We are off out to Canterbury today to see DS2 and make a start on shopping for Christmas. I've usually finished by now but due to the move I have held off buying. Will see what jumps out at me when we get there!

    Have a good day all,
