  • Card is being worked on! I am currently stitching in the evenings whilst husband sits next to me on the playstation - a very modern version of parallel play. Hoping to be done by the end of the week :)

Oh Daisy, I feel your pain, it’s that too much invested to quit thing. I think you’re right to park it, then see how you feel in February. If you’re still not feeling it life is really too short to battle because you think you should finish it. I’ve occasionally passed half completed projects to the CS and I’ve also bought WIP’s and finished them. It will spark joy for someone.

Other news big thanks to Auti. What a cheery Rudolf really picked me out my funk this morning. My first Christmas card!

Still waiting date for exchange and completion. On 10th December it will be 6 months. Come on Land Registry you can absolutely do this!
My card finished and posted. Apologies for the mounting, I’m struggling to find my craft stuff in the new house. Missing my fray treatment and double sided tape as well as my window mounted cards. Hope my recipient likes it x

My card was also posted today and I too apologise to the recipient as I still haven’t found all my craft stash so had to ‘make do’ with what I could find in mounting terms.

    Love the card Auti 😊

@daisy_1571 I absolutely feel your pain with the dragon design. I too would suggest parking it until there is better light and you can spend some time sorting the threads out. I got halfway through the Chicory Fairy once and couldn’t finish it due to the mixed strands and keeping losing my place. I ended up binning it and buying the kit again and finishing it a few years later. I also parked the Haberdashery Shop earlier this year as realised I’d gone wrong. I will be able to save it/workaround the error, but needed a smaller ‘win’ to keep me sane!

Hope you have news soon @Charly27 such a long time to wait!

@Coxy11.  Thank you so much for the card - it is so delicate - a bit like parchment craft (Pergamano) in its tiny stitches. It is now on my mantle piece. Thank you again and have a peaceful holiday time :)
