That's a lovely finish @Drawingaline. I googled the other designs too. Much as I too love horses I felt the Summer design was a bit naff! Are they for you or are you gifting?
I am not well today. Started with a sore throat at work yesterday and it got progressively worse. Saw every hour on the clock during the night as my temperature soared. I have taken the day off and popped to get a Covid test but thankfully negative. Such a lot of it about and as I work in a hospital I'm surrounded by lurgies. I hope to be okay to return tomorrow.
We have had an offer on our house which we've accepted. Now to find somewhere. Saw a lovely house last month but unsure about a development planned for land adjacent to it. We would need to negotiate a steal of the price to be comfortable taking the risk I think. They are retirees looking to downsize so you never know....

Sorry to hear that fox and flowers and Coxy have been so poorly. There has been a lot of Covid about here too right at the end of term before the summer holidays. Hope you both feel better soon.
Great finish DaL. Love the fox. Well done on the glasses case Coxy, I love the fabric. It might be the machines and not either of you! I love my sewing and can’t wait to get back into it. Fingers crossed you now find somewhere you love as you have an offer. We’re looking at mid to late August but still haven’t confirmed a date for exchange and completion yet. Lots of times my hands have been too sore to stitch after all the DiY but stitching bits and pieces on lovecats. Hope all are all right.

Sorry for my long absence, all is good here. Everyone is doing so good, i just caught up so sorry if i missed anyone.
Coxy, sorry to hear about your DH's state of mind, hopefully the mortgage free house move will give you both peace and relaxation. Love the glasses case
DAL, your 3 finished items look great together, that fabric is amazing.
Charly, the cat is cute sounds awful with the half stitches.
Fox, the stamped bee is very colourful, its great.
Good news i have been stitching seascape, i finished page 5 of 8, we finally have a boat on page 6 and i made a birthday card for my mum.

Hi all,
Great progress on Seascape @nmm and the birthday card is lovely too.
I haven't had time to pick up any stitching lately - too invested in the Olympics and house admin! We have negotiated a good price for the first house we saw (well first of only two we actually viewed) and it's a relatively short chain, so might even be in for Christmas (you never know). Good luck with your move @Charly27. Exciting that there will be new addresses for the Christmas Card Exchange this year!
DH is (as I type) attending a second interview. It's for a one year fixed term contract to be worked 3 days at home/2 in the office in Guildford. It's not a biggy if he doesn't get it, but would be good if he does. Hoping to hear from him in around an hour.

hi all, Nmm it’s great to see the boat appearing in the seascape. Like Coxy I haven’t been doing much in the way of stitching mostly due to my hands and wrists aching like billio! Still no agreed date for exchange and completion but we keep moving carloads each time we go to the new house. Hope DH secured the contract.

Latest update on Seascape

Hi everyone,
Update from me: DH didn't get the job - he's okay about it, has cancelled his premium LinkedIn membership (as can't be sure it's gaining him much networking) and is resigned to getting a part time role once we move. Meanwhile I'm in the office 5 days a week, desperately trying to look busy. The politics are off the scale, cannot believe how poor the culture is, but hopefully I won't be there beyond Christmas.
DH is seeing our solicitor on Tuesday - he wanted a F2F meeting but has been on leave so this is the first available time. DH is also sorting a survey on the new house as we will port our little mortgage for the time being.
I am off to Gloucester next Friday with DSis to pick up our charity JoGLE hike. We plan to walk to Tiverton in Devon this leg with a view to finishing next Spring. I am making crocheted forget me nots to leave on benches etc. as we go. Meant a foray into P!nterest which lost me an evening (you know how it is...)
Great update on Seascape @nmm - the colours are dreamy.
Sorry to hear about your poorly hands @Charly27 not good at all, hope you see an improvement soon x
Hope everyone is doing okay,
