Some of the parents complained, didn't get anywhere. We were told in October it would be a gradual change so I assumed old uniform would be suitable until next size needed and then the newly ordered uniform would feature new badge. But in Dec we were told new design with new badge from January....this is from a school with eco status type thing 🙄 the mind boggles.2024 decluttering Campaign

Today's decluttering comprises of a small chest of drawers, 2 magazines, a tank top, a 2023 diary and 2 Christmas days. Oh and a pair of leggings.
I've started looking round the house every night and wondering 'What can go?' Love it20 -
I have finally used up a pot of face cream! The last 3 times (at least) that I’ve used it I’ve thought ‘I’ll finish this tonight’ and now I have. The pot however isn’t going to recycling as I do like to cut the ends of squeezy tubes to scoop out the dregs that just won’t squeeze out. It’s amazing how much an ‘empty’ tube will still contain!I did declutter some smoked haddock fillets from the freezer and made a kedgeree for tea this evening. We’ve not had one for ages and it was lovely✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Decluttered a saucepan by welding some sausage meat onto it and deciding it was beyond repair. It was one of a set of three I bought for a few quid when my ex moved out and I had nothing (pans or pennies). One of its siblings lives in the mud kitchen, another fell prey to porridge. Rest easy, Morrison's cheapo pan.21

Hi everyone:-)WOW fantastic progress with the decluttering. I hate the akward stage when a room is in a complete mess whilst you're going through everything but it does seem to spur you on to do some more and get it done & finished with a few well deserved breaks in beween! My office is now clutter free and has had a full Spring clean - Ooo some of that hidden muck!
Anyway, I've decided to paint the office on Saturday so first coat early in the morning as soon as there's light and then the second coat the afternoon, so gives it a day to fully dry & harden off a little ready for me to put things back pre-painting on Sunday evening and then I'm all ready for Monday.
I've now just declutter todays emails, cleaned the computer of all the junk, updated software, antivirus etc etc but it only took 20 minutes. Decluttered my phone, arranged apps in folders, cleaned, checked for updates & shut down.Tomorrow I'm going to start my 10/10/10 in my bedroom in between all the necessities of life and mixed in with a break or two when I need some stop & silent time.Time for bed as it's getting lateGood night all xxx

Not much been happening on the tidying front, but I should get back to it really. Every room is ok, but nothing is ever perfectly tidy and as mess seems to breed more mess, I would love to fully get on top of it.A few more bits done and I've notice in the kitchen that almost every cupboard and drawer has something to use up in it. I think this could be a long task still, but I do keep thinking about it whenever I cook, so hopefully it is all going down. I need to really clear a cupboard out with the overflow baking stuff in as I need to put my new instant pot in it. Sadly I just ordered more because I needed yeast and didn't want to just order a single item, but then the rest is bread flour and I make a couple of loaves a week, so should blast through it all in no time.DS randomly went through one of his drawers with no mention of anything from me. He simply said he realised that he hadn't been through it in a while and knew there was loads of stuff he didn't want in there! So creeping onwards, although not felt up to digital decluttering yet after all the lurking illnesses in the house (DH is still ill). I did however, update software on all my devices, so digital chores are still ongoing. Still been getting rid of 10 emails per day from the inbox, but haven't been able to get them below 200... so basically I am still getting too many emails. Hoping they will go down now I don't need to buy anything for a while, but will see if there is anything else I can unsubscribe from to help.Digital:
2 - text message conversations deleted
Physical:
1 - light bulb used up
1 - plug binned (doesn’t work)
34 - DS random tat recycled/binned
1 - packaging, reused
5 - paper, reused then recycled1 - medical supplies used upNew total = 1,902

Ha, little patches of hope, definitely a garden term for me too.
Dfw, I would have had a fit about the PE kit. When my eldest two were at High School they changed the uniform from a white shirt, tie and blazer to a very scruffy looking polo shirt and sweatshirt, but they took 2 years to phase it in. The cost of trips is not compulsory. If you talk to school they should cover it. I know because I used to work at school but was always too embarrassed to ask for it.I remember all to well how I had to cut back on food for school trips. Getting asked to a birthday party and having to buy a present was another one. Saying that I was pleased that the children got to have a nice experience that I couldn't afford to take the 3 of us to though.
Bamboo socks, haha, the pans have gone to a better place.
Thank you Granny Kate, we had a lovely time at the tile cafe. Veganism hasn't infiltrated North Lincolnshire but the accidentally vegan chips I had were lovely. What a lovely spot, we would never have found it without your recommendation. The walls made from roof tiles were a work of art, We will go again. I tried to take a pic of the Humber bridge but it is quite disappointing.
