Must say I've never had Angel Delight of any flavour. Also was offered a Penguin today (something else I've never had) and I declined in case I liked them. Last thing I need is more stuff that I like!!! One of the joys of being foreign is that I came happily dream of the things I used to stuff my face with and know I'm safe from temptation. Hi all, just popping in. I have spent most of the day in bed but I have recycled 4 magazines and the parcel of moth stuff was delivered so that has been unpacked and put away and the box broken down and put into the recycling.
OH got home about 6 and has aquired a bad back. It happens every so often, just clicks out, so I have made OH some soup and toast while I have had toast and tea. We are out tomorrow night so I am staying in the tlc carriage a bit longer hoping to be much better tomorrow.
@Vulpix I hope your ds finds a job he enjoys. I must admit I loved my job but I didn't go into teaching until I was 39 and after various jobs before I had a clear idea of what I wanted, which was to be in the classroom. I had had my fill of managerial type of jobsI deliberately never applied for promotions etc as all those roles in schools carry far to much admin. Some people love that type of role but I knew it wasn't for me
. I still worked all sorts of silly hours which the general public don't understand but the time in the classroom was mostly very good. I was also lucky to be in a special school which was both rewarding and challenging, no 2 days were ever the same
Right off to make another cuppa and listen to the radio, OH has commandeered the remote. Hugs to everyone who would like one

Hi everyone. How's your day of decluttering been?I've had a fantastic day and the main bedroom is almost decluttered. I've just got behind one more door of the wardrobe to do and it's finished. Got another 13 items for the charity bag and the others I'm listing on eBay as a part of my make £2024 in 2024 challenge.Tomorrow is paint the office day with a brand new tin of quick dry emulsion I found in the shed
so also helping the decluttering of the shed already! As I will need to do 2 coats with a 4-5 hour break in between, the plan is to finish decluttering the main bedroom last door of the wardrobe and give it a Spring clean.
Sunday will be a relax day where I might do one 10/10/10 in one of the spare bedrooms but to be honest, there's not a lot of clutter in there. So perhaps a Spring clean and then maybe find some unused items I can list on eBay - I've got 3 bins liners full in the boot of the car ready for the charity shop which I might try and take tomorrow to get them out of the way and out of the boot! Can't be cluttering the car

I am very tired after a long week and launching myself to some epic handover sessions at work. Feel better now I am one large session down today. I did run round and tidy a small amount in every single room in the house, but even DH said it looks exactly the same
. Clearly there is more work to do there...
Planning on doing some important sitting later with a glass of gin and tonic, but definitely lots more tidying to do on the cards for the weekend. I've continued tracking 10 things to tidy versus 1 thing to declutter and interestingly I am massively decluttering more than tidying in all the rooms apart from DS's room where I've tidied way more than any decluttering. Take of that what you will, but DS is quite messy and it's a slow progress to get him to do a little bit every day to keep it under control.A few more bits used up/gone whilst I was tidying.Physical:
1 - candle (Buy Nothing)
1 - hand sanitizer used up (binned - now onto the refillable bottles at last and no overstock left)
2 - broken containers binned
3 - kitchen reusable bags I find too hard to get on with (Buy Nothing). Got another 2 to get rid of, but they are currently in use!
1 - DS shredded trousers (recycling pile)New total = 1,910vulpix said:Queen Jess, a mess breeds more mess... but tidy also breeds more tidy. You are slaying it.It's lots of work for little reward in this last 10% of clutter/tidying. Hoping to get there eventually with a bit a day and need things more tidy before DS's birthday party in a few weeks!

Banana Angel Delight sorry but 🤢 now the butterscotch one 😋 didn't use use to be able to buy instant whip which was very similar? Last time I looked at AD it was nearly £1 so not a cheap treat anymore especially as I could eat the lot
Held hostage again tonight, he can hear me shake out the heated throw from anywhere in the house TBH he can make me too hot then he objects when I switch it off

I'll be taking any gentle hugs please tonight! Ive 'had a fall' wail
At almost 58 can I class it as that rather than just saying 'I fell down' as I did when I was 6 lol?
Mr daisy was in the hut, heard me yelp and came out to find me like a turtle at the bottom of our 3 steps out the back door. It was my ankle that had given way so its sore as are: both hands, both elbows, left shoulder, left ribs, bottom, both knees (in different places) and calf muscles. Jeezo. I remember falling in my younger days and just getting up. Today I lay there like that stranded turtle indeed. Surprise i think. As well as general unfitness.
Strengthened my resolve to get fitter this year. So all I've decluttered this afternoon is some chocolate and some programmes we've taped (which is unlikely to help the fitness plan I am aware).
Not looking forward to that first movement tomorrow morning to get out of bed lol.
Take care everyone
