Happy birthday JackieOWell Done all for you great efforts with decluttering & keeping decluttered. My report as of Friday is that the house and the outside space is now totally decluttered and organised, including the shed! Can't believe the huge difference, especially with both space and mentally. I seem to be sleeping much better now but it's not over because I'm still doing my 10/10/10 everyday: Clear 10 pieces of junk, put away 10 items in the right place, and now do 10 chores that need doing.Gave myself a top GOLD Medal for commitment & completing all the decluttering, cleaning, and organising!~ NSD 2025 - NSD August 2/20 (7 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - Ongoing - 1 x £25 Voucher Redeemed, 20 FREE Books of RM Stamps & Presentation Packs.~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1934.34 / £2025 (95.5%) (3) 💯💯+# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 2025: £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £14,986.67 / £12,000 💯 - Continuing18

Hello everyone. @mehefin your library is just lovely. A warm and relaxing space. I started faffing round in the understairs cupboard and chucked out lots of stuff
A leaflet
Tissue paper
Book
Xmas cards
4 bags
Plastic crate
2 ood suntan lotions
Plus very embarrassed to find quite a lot of very out of date food - smoked garlic, sr flour, part baked rolls, couscous, popping corn, mincemeat, chutney, figs, nooch, date syrup, honey, chocolate spread and miso. Sadly all has gone in the bin.
Also swept the floor and wiped the shelves, there is still quite a lot of old tut in there however so will keep going in the week18 -
MRS SD ~ glad to hear the salad sister enjoyed her tea, it is the small things. Fingers crossed its not long before she homemehefin ~ the library looks so good. I do hope stays very busydizzycap, I love that you have decluttered your whole house and garden! you def deserve the medal xHad a much less exhausting day today, drove DH to the garden centre for some fish bits. I did potter in the garden a bit this afternoon as it was sunny (mostly!), dug up a clump of snowdrops in the wrong place and split it into 4 and replanted and cleared a couple of areas up after the tress surgens had been and piled the wood, now weve moved the wood and cut lots of it, it left the sticks and leaves and sawdust to be cleared, so thats looking better. But other than that its been a quiet day. DS1 should be back tomorrow with GF, so that will be nice. I will see if they would like to help me in the garden, but I already know the answer DS1 and DS2 are like chalk and cheese!!!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

A quiet weekend as planned. Lots of resting and a bit of pottering.
I reconfigured office (again) - I barely use it these days as DS has taken up residence - it wasn't bothering DS but it was getting me down seeing it so cramped so I moved a storage unit into my bedroom where its hidden in an alcove. To be honest I should probably let it go as I bought it to store baby supplies and DS is 23 now 😂. There is probably more stuff that could go from that room.
Day off tomorrow - I had planned to meet up with my Cousin but she's been called in on "Grannie duties". I'm sad not to be seeing her but a clear day won't go amiss.
I decluttered my 16 items so I am now back at a 2:1 ratio. For now ...... 😂
Tasks:
Swept up in the loft - hadn't realised there was so much debris from the roof work.
Reconfigured officeIn (running total 31)
0
Out (running total 46)
47. Wintertrax
48. Holey trousers - DS
49. Book
50 & 51 - 2 x necklace
52. Bracelet
53. Rosary
54. Jumper
55. Jewellery box
56. Standing desk converter thingie - basically a very expensive cardboard box 😂
57. Set of storage drawers
58 & 9 - 2 x Storage baskets
60. T.Shirt
61. Cardigan
62. Netti pot (can't face using it - going to have to stick with expensive saline sprays)
Get well Wishes to your DSis @MrsSD💐
@Mehifin - your library is lovely - I really like the colour scheme 💕

Hello all, I discharged myself from the TLC carriage for the weekend as I felt good. I did 2 loads of washing yesterday and it was dry this morning so I put it away. Today I stripped the bed, washed the bedding, cleaned the bedroom and remade the bed. Ooooh go me !!
I decided to go through my jigsaws and released 2x1000 piece ones to the light cs, I now only have 15 plus my new one that DD bought me for xmas which is still a work in progress on my board, well it's a start. My jigsaws are kept in cupboards above the bed and I nearly fell off the bed again as I over balanced but just managed to save myself 😨. Wish I was taller then I could reach without risking life and limb 🤣
I binned a couple of odd socks that had been relegated to dusters and now past the point of no return and also emptied the upstairs bins. My old pillow has been binned too, I'll try the new one tonight then perhaps I can get a good night's sleep.
Tomorrow I have an MRI appointment but it's not till 4.30pm so I'll be twiddling my thumbs till then. On Tuesday I have to take my Dad to the audiology clinic and I'm dreading it as he always asks the most personal questions of strangers, it's really embarrassing 😖 I shall probably be back in the TLC carriage by Tuesday evening as a gibbering wreck 🥴
MrsSD glad DSis is a little better, hope she gets home soon. Sorry that you have a cold, I shall send gentle hugs.
Flaming 747 Oh no you didn't ! sorry couldn't resist, I'll get my coat ! Glad you enjoyed the panto.
Mehefin that picture makes me yearn to be back working in the library (before my DD was born) It's so clean and tidy. well done to all involved.
Well done to QueenJess and Dizzycap for all the decluttering. I can only aspire to what you are achieving.
Happy decluttering all, keep on plodding, remember the tortoise won his race eventually 🐢 Apologies for the long post, that turned into more of a chapter !
Hugs to anyone in need. nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently19 -
Many happy belated birthdays to those ive missed.
I hope everyone is feeling better soon x
I haven't done a great deal this week. I've tried getting in to the dentist but no appointments available. I phoned 111 but as it's not bleeding and I don't have a temperature, I've just got to keep trying to ring dentists. Lots of painkillers decluttered and the soft foods will help with weight loss at least.
Another box sorted through. A lot of it went in the bin. The box will also follow at some point as when I went to lift it over the sofa, I dropped it and broke the box. I did get really upset earlier with the state of the house, there's that much clutter everywhere I don't see any difference when I do clean and tidy. It will get there eventually.
I think I'm going to have to throw out a pair of (expensive for me to try and help the heel pain) trainers I bought august/Sept time. It took me ages to realise thats were where the horrible smell was coming from, I should have returned them then but I've washed them twice now, sprayed with fabric freshener and deodorant and it's actually getting worse and the sole has started to deteriorate. It smells like very strong cat wee, we don't have a cat. I'm out of ideas to try.

Floss I wasn't sure if they could be returned as been through the washer twice and ive thrown the box. The smell actually seems to be coming from the sole. It's worse now its deteriorated. I did think about emailing both N@xt and Sk@tchers to see what they said. I'll email both tomorrow as I've only worn them about 5 times as they smell awful.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

That shouldn't matter - as long as you can evidence when you bought them, maybe with an email receipt if you can't locate a paper one?2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
