Asda opticians , before I forget for petite frames. And affordable. Sorry I've seen @floss and a few others talking about frames and wanted to suggest those looking for small.frames try asda. I've found small frames there at less than half the price of.many well.known and frequently advertised places.
@2Scratters well done on clearing your parents house. That's amazing work.and glad to hear it feels good.
Down at my dad's and have a tip run booked so will look for more. Includes my microwave from home as the tip here is so much friendly. Have lots of VHS tapes that no-one wants! And jigsaws with a couple of pieces missing.
Dd1 did ring me and say when I move ' please do not take anything unncessary' as she knows I'll move to a smaller place and there is so much. And so don't want her to have to go through what I'm doing.
Better get started and thanks again all here for the motivation!20 -
Hello folks
So happy that Salad Sister is OK overall and has been refreshed and cheered by the power of tea. I am a great believer in the power of this magic elixir. It cheers, it calms, it cools, it warms. Thanks for the second 🥉. Very happy about that.
Minimal decluttering will be done today as we are off to Knaresborough for lunch with DD and DSil. Looking forward to that greatly and a yummy roast dinner.
Take care all. Know exactly what @BudgetingBelinda means about hidden clutter feeling oppressive!21 -

Thank you, @Mrs Saladdodger, for my three gold stars. Totally unexpected. Thank you, too, @vulpix , for your kind thoughts for Mr Rif’s continuing improvement. He’s still a bit anxious ( 79 very soon), but is wondering about driving , so he’s doing better. Glad that Salad Sister is being well cared for and hopefully she will soon improve. The power of tea- love that !
Hugs for all , needed or not.16 -

Mrs Salad Dodgers sister in hopstial. Good to hear she's improving too, hopsitals are great for fixing you but terrible for sleeping...Nothing much going out here, I'm just piling things up ready to go including my ex printer. It decided not to work one final time so I lost my temper, picked it up and slammed it on the floor. It definitely does not work now. That's my first expression of tech rage in quite a while...very cathartic.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi17

Flower pot, that is a lot of work to dig out the hedge, no wonder you ache.
Mehefin, love the library, it reminds me of Buxton library which is in old school buildings.
Muddy walker, one of the declutterati penned Salad sister, I can't remember who, sorry, but it is ace.
Pleased to hear Salad sister is on the mend and will soon be back in the Salad bowl.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Sunday is a much brighter day 🙂 there is lots of blue sky & even some sunshine (which of course highlights that I really do need to clean the inside of my windows 😔) + a few dwarf daffodils have put in an appearance 👏 I was up at 11:05 but have only put on my fluffy dressing gown 😉. DSis sent DH a message - she had a better night’s sleep (I put that down to the Power of Tea 😂) but she still woke up with a slight headache which has been despatched by a regular tablet & a cuppa. As I am up & just about awake I thought I would do the cheerleading & decide on a plan of action for today.
Fizz2015, hopefully the piles of stuff are all neat & tidy 🤞Surely your Mum comes to see you rather than your house 😊
TC77, thanks for the recommendation for Asda opticians 👏 Good luck at your Dad’s house 🍀 Hopefully you will have a full car for the Tip run 🤞 I love that your DD1 is already planning your move 😉
Florafauna, hope you have a lovely lunch at Knaresborough 😊
You are very welcome Floss 😊
mehefin, pleased to hear that the library re-opening was such a success 😊 Now that everyone has had a look around, I am joining Floss in sending positive vibes that your community will keep turning up & borrowing books & making full use of their newly upgraded library 😊
You are most welcome retiredinfrance 😊 I will definitely take a hug or three 🤗
Muddy_Walker, the term Salad Sister was coined by Florafauna 😊 & is such a lovely turn of phrase that it has stuck 😉
-taff, I imagine DSis’s fellow patients are probably struggling to sleep as DSis is definitely a member of the snore club 😂 ‘Tech rage’ - love it & you are so right - it is definitely cathartic especially when you have given the ‘tech’ every opportunity to redeem itself 😅
Lovely post vulpix 😊 & what a great turn of phrase “…… Salad sister is on the mend and will soon be back in the Salad bowl.” 🥹
Pleased to say that I am all caught up so no excuses not to do something 😉 but I am almost certain I will find some 🤣
I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday 😊
P.S. to London_1, my DH was born just around the corner in Quinnell Street - small world 😉
