Rather late tonight so I haven't had time to read all the posts.
Hugs to those that need them and "well done" for all the decluttering done.
Yesterday decided to give the living room a deep clean. Coffee table is big, heavy, and made of solid wood. Moved it and hurt my back. Would have gone in the TLC carriage but I couldn't run fast enough to catch it!!!.
Today was a bit better. Sorted some craft stuff.
372. i large cardboard box. recycled.
373-374. kitchen rubbish and recycling out.
375-379. 5 old tatty craft kits. recycled.
380. some creased up bits of material.
sold some bits on e-bay but not counting those yet until I've posted them.
take care everyone.
ilovetea xx

6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
So I did find something to do but nothing physical 😉 I went through my emails & reduced them by 50% which sounds impressive but I only had 60 to go through 😅 I also revisited iNotes & deleted another 5% 🙂 Finally remembered to add February 1p Challenge amount to Terramundi Pot. DH had a quick bath, made a pan of soup from los & bottom of fridge vegetables & made a flask of tea before setting off to visit Salad Sister at about 16:00. DH phoned a few minutes later to say that the buses are still not working properly so he will be using DLR & overground. An update on DSis - the scan showed lung scarring but nothing more sinister 😮💨 & her oxygen flow is gradually being reduced down from an initial high of 8 & is now 3 litres per minute 🙂 Although DSis is is now on the same ward number as DH was, she has her own room (with private facilities) - probably why she is sleeping better 😊 My DSis is chatting away happily to my DH - lots about our family & her feelings - the sort of things that she & I remember differently. DH says that she seems a lot happier in herself 😊 & is now accepting wholeheartedly that she will be staying in the hospital until the doctor is happy that he won’t be seeing her anytime soon once he has discharged her 🥳 DH came back by bus but it took an age & he didn’t get indoors until 21:00. We finished off the chilli - even with some lazy chillies added it was a disappointment 😔 Some of the things that my DSis talked about inspired DH to look at my & her family tree again. He has discovered that our paternal great-great grandfather went to work in France (something to do with lace making possibly as he was from Nottingham) & married a French woman 😉 Although it would appear that our great grandfather was born in England but 3 elder siblings were born in France. Wudupa.

Excess work BudgetingBelinda 👏 You are definitely determined to declutter the airing cupboard 😉 Good luck 🍀
Moorviews, Salad Sister seems to be on the mend as she is being allowed to have a shower tomorrow 🥳 A great cheerleading post 😊 Good luck with the paperwork decluttering 🍀
Brie, excellent work returning items to the kitchen 👏 You are doing so well that I am awarding you a medal 🏅 I hope your OH remembers his words “a greedy use of space for something used so rarely" when it comes to the raclette & the air popcorn maker 😂 Thanks for the tip about cardboard inners from toilet rolls 👏 How great is it that your tidying & decluttering has led to locating your art paper 😊 Your comment “Every time I get one thing done it means there's something else that pops out.....” sounds strangely familiar 😅
Excellent decluttering Happy_Kitties 👏 especially the neutral items - such a large number already deserves a medal 🏅 which is on its way 😊
Florafauna what a lovely day out 😊
TC77, great decluttering at your dad’s house 👏 Very well done on resisting the lure of the Italian cups & saucers 👏 in honour of such great progress & the fact that you are only bringing back books & items for donation, I am awarding you a medal 🏅
Excellent decluttering wishus 👏 Shame about the hm cider & elderflower wine 😔 Very impressed at all the work in your office so a medal 🏅 is on its way. Please remember to take a sample of the nice jam to the TLC Carriage 😉
London_1, what a lovely way to spend a Sunday - baking followed by someone else doing the cooking & all in the company of a good proportion of your family 😊 Hopefully the chap who turned up yesterday will be the ‘only messer’ who wastes both your & the EA’s time 🤞 Good news that the jigsaw puzzles will be going to a good home 🙂
Off to bed now, so will catch up later. Sleep tight everyone 😴

charlies_tribe said:Floss I wasn't sure if they could be returned as been through the washer twice and ive thrown the box. The smell actually seems to be coming from the sole. It's worse now its deteriorated. I did think about emailing both N@xt and Sk@tchers to see what they said. I'll email both tomorrow as I've only worn them about 5 times as they smell awful.Keep reading books!

Morning all - quiet here this morning as smallest person had a sleepover at neighbours with their grandson. He was very excited as this is a first for him. DGD4 has a friend here who goes home at 10. I have tonight to myself then children until Saturday but we are going to DDs in Midlands.
206 Collection of emails in inbox all dealt with except one
207 HMRC frog - it took over half an hour to get DS2 registered on Government Gateway and he is very tech savvy. This showed letter he sent last August as 'in progress' - in other words they haven't answered it yet! Reminder and update sent. The service from HMRC is truly dreadful. If you owe them money they want it in days.
208 DS2 did temp fix on fence (not ours) but it needs a proper repair.
209 Last Christmas item (tree stand) in loft

MrsSD, they do say that all children grow up in different families because the dynamics are different for each one. This is true for me and my two sisters, despite being close in age, especially with a father that was resentful, adoring, or disinterested, depending on which of us is telling the story.Married 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Woke up at 08:25 feeling rather thirsty so had a cup of tea & then promptly fell asleep on the sofa 😦 Currently dry & sunny but a bit chilly only 8C. DH has his 2nd 2 hour driving refresher course today. DSis had a restless night so doctor has asked for her CPAP machine to be brought in 😔 Seems to be one step forward & two back at the moment. *The driving instructor is late 😔* Another message from DSis - now on a nebuliser again as she has a bunged up nose 😔 *..* DH has found a message stating the lesson has been put back to 15:00 😡 Not quite sure what is going on 😔
247 - 249 Three cardboard boxes recycled
QueenJess, I still think you are being way too hard on yourself 😔 You are doing a remarkable decluttering job 👏 As to being way ahead of last years numbers at this point, I think what has happened is that your ‘decluttering eye’ is now fine tuned so it is easier to spot items that no longer have a place in your home 👏 Sorry to hear that you are still struggling to locate glasses frames but hopefully something suitable will turn up 🤞
flamingo747, “oh no you didn’t, oh yes I did” sorry for being so silly 😂
Dizzycap, congratulations on completing the outside & shed decluttering 👏 A Gold Star ⭐️ from me to accompany your special award
Excellent decluttering Florafauna 👏 Shame about the ood food but better safe than sorry 🙂 Good luck completing ‘project under stairs cupboard’ 🍀
Lovely post ~FlowerPot~ 😊 Excellent work in the garden yesterday 👏 are you sure it was less exhausting 😉
EnergyShifter, pleased to hear that you managed your quiet weekend 😊 Well done on restoring your 2:1 ratio - excellent decluttering 👏 Good luck with the office reconfiguration - hopefully DS will appreciate having more space 🤞Thanks for DSis’s 💐
Lovely cheerleading post nannywindow 😊 Pleased to hear that you felt well enough to leave the TLC Carriage over the weekend 😊 & you got a lot done 👏 Perhaps you should pop back in today before your MRI just to recharge your batteries 😉 Fingers crossed that your Dad is more restrained tomorrow 🤞Thanks for the gentle hugs & the reminder that the tortoise wins the race 😊
charlies_tribe, very sorry to hear that you have been unable to get an appointment with the dentist 😔 fingers crossed that you have better luck this week 🤞 Excellent decluttering 👏 & as long as you persevere you WILL start to notice a difference 😊 Expensive trainers only lasting 5 months is a disgrace 😠 I agree with everyone who has commented that they should definitely be returned.
ilovetea, I really hope that you haven’t damaged your back too badly 🙏 Please remember that you don’t need to run to catch up - you just need to close your eyes & make a wish - the magic of the EDT will transport you straight to the TLC Carriage 😊 🪄
Floss, not so much a different childhood - more like a 6 year age gap & different temperaments 😊
GrannyKate, hope have something nice planned for your free evening 😊 Well done on getting the HMRC frog sorted 👏
Excellent work dealing with frogs bit_by_bit 👏 Does a trip to Southampton mean your in-laws are going on a cruise 😉 Please take care when driving home 🙏
Well put flamingo747 😊
All caught up 🙂 DH & I have had a bowl of hm soup - very tasty 😋 DH left for his driving lesson about 14:55. I have put a load in the wm & will look for something else to do later 😉 Meanwhile I have started knitting a baby blanket in pastel colours. See you later 👋

So bathroom cupboard decluttered. 5 bags done… spurred me on to the spare room wardrobe. I got really carried away and decluttered the whole spare room- except the wardrobe! A lot is in a holding pen in the hallway/dining room that I need to deal with but DS2 is almost agreeing to move into the spare room, he’s slowly slowly moved into my room and I am going to try and make the spare room just too inviting for him to not move into! I will need to buy a tv I think for that room to really entice him! Budget doesn’t allow at present but it’s on the list.So happy with the spare room now.. keep going back in it to appreciate the space! Now the hallway/dining room needs some major attention and further decluttering but it’s in such a a place to create an eyesore that will bother me everyday to the point of motivation… so watch this space! Back home after a lovely week away. Accidentally decluttered 5 cereal bowls last night - 2 are still ok so won’t replace the other 5 at the moment. We have soup bowls and pasta bowls so that’s enough in a crowded cupboard.
Made a start on tidying bedroom today - a jumper to be washed ready to go to CS and a top also to go. OH has finished a book, also going to the CS. Sorted out lists from week before we went away so a clearer pile of papers to get to work on on Wednesday. Tomorrow will be taken up with medical appointments.
