I tried to watch the Superbowl the other night, but I got too tired and fell asleep. I'm a big Taylor Swift fan and I'm seeing her in London this summer. I didn't really like her until I started listening to her in lockdown.
It was gorgeous weather yesterday, but it is rainy and miserable today. I suppose it is February.I had to go out and fill out the form for my NHS exemption card this morning and the GP is near a charity shop so I went in!
I have been to two charity shops today and yesterday and have added 8 new items so I am going to try and declutter at least 8 that I already own. I will report back when I have gathered up the things to declutter.2025 GOALS

4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Tuesday is a dark, drizzly day 😔 DH made my 1st cuppa at 10:15 so up & dressed immediately. DSis sent a long text at 07:30 - she is no longer on oxygen + slept quite well👏 A short list of items requested including saline nasal spray. Apparently the consultant said he may send her home ‘later’ which has irked DH a little as the last time such a vague comment was made & it didn’t happen, DSis got very upset + DH was hanging around for hours. Oh well, we shall see.
12:30 DH seems to think my DSis might be suffering from “selective hearing” 😉 He is currently out picking up his prescription meds & a couple of bits for Salad Sister. Meanwhile I am doing the washing she sent home with DH last night as she has just mentioned to DH that she would like the clothes back 😔 In order to report doing something today, I have stripped our bed, turned the mattress & put on new bedding. DH is back.
London_1, a busy morning yesterday. Hope DGS Ben’s dental appointment went well 🤞 + another birthday lunch & some decluttering 👏 Today is another busy day - so much energy 🤩 Good luck with tackling your wardrobes 🍀 at this rate you will have just the one suitcase & a box of books to go to the IoW 😉
vulpix, am I imagining things, or now that your renovations are completed are you considering moving 🤔 I see you have been very busy at your Mum’s house again 👏 Please remember to pop into the TLC Carriage once in a while just to catch your breath from being busy 100% of your waking time 😉😊
Florafauna, a brave soul - lido swimming in February 🤩 no wonder you decluttered warmth 😉 Great work decluttering both physical items & housework 👏 Good luck decluttering the knitting on the never ending scarf 🍀
More excellent decluttering QueenJess 👏 I am in constant awe at not only how much you get done but also how you tailor your decluttering & tidying - regularly revising your approach 🤩 A medal 🏅 is on its way to add to your growing collection of awards 😊
Great decluttering ilovetea 👏 interspersed with some crafting & reading - both activities leading to a bit more decluttering 😉
TC77, I think probably the most annoying thing about people not turning up to collect is that they are not polite enough to let you know 😖 but pleased to hear that the charity turned up 👏 Sorry to hear that you are feeling overwhelmed 😔 but please remember that you have a lot on your plate especially as you are not only working full time but also clearing your Dad’s house 😔 I hope that your weekend away is for something pleasurable 🙏🤞
Brambling, it sounds like you might need to pop back into the TLC Carriage to recover your strength especially after the work in the garden 🙏 Congratulations on decluttering your job & being kind enough to give your boss three months notice 🥳 Good luck with sorting the remaining paperwork for your pension 🍀
-taff, I really like that “… you could always go with the Dana K White rule...If it feels like your head is going to explode over an item, just get rid of it because nothings worth your head exploding” Just wondering if your cooking marathon was for any particular reason?
Liverpool_Anne, all in all quite a busy weekend 😊 Hope your team won on Saturday 🤞Hope you have a lovely time with ln 😊 Like you I am curious as to whether or not vulpix is on the move 😉
weenancy, excellent work on thinning out your books 👏 Shame that none of your cats like cuddles 😔 The book sale has come around really quickly 😧 seems like only a week ago since the last one 😉 Hopefully you can find some time to enjoy the nice weather before the next lot of rain blows in 🤞 It might also be time to have a look for a few more clothes 😉 especially if all your clothes fit into one & a bit loads in the wm 😦
bit_by_bit, curious to know where your parents in law are going on their cruise 😉 You have probably mentioned it but the EDT is still moving so fast I still manage to miss info 😉 Excellent work sorting your clothing 👏 So sorry to hear about your BiL & SiL being fleeced by the ‘parasitic cuckoo’ 😔 Thank heavens you are on the ball 👏 Hopefully with all the information you have, the police & courts will be able to deal with the ‘parasitic cuckoo’ + BiL & SiL will soon have a safe place to live 🤞
Just stopped to have a bowl of hm soup - enough left for lunch tomorrow for the 2 of us 🙂 Will be back later to finish the cheerleading as I am currently sneezing & coughing for England 😔

Well, a bit of a balls up here. Mr V's cancer treatment has come unstuck because the GP is in one county and the hospital is in another. Phone calls to the surgeons secretary have met with indifference and out right wrong information.
If you're still struggling, I would suggest contacting your MP to chase up Mr V's treatment with the relevant ICB & Trusts.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I couldn't really find that much. In the bathroom I used the last of the mouthwash and put the bottle into the recycling. In the kitchen I had to bin two very gross carrots. I meant to use them up a few days ago as I bought a new bag. I binned a kitchen sponge and took the plastic recycling outside. In the living room I threw away a pet blanket.
In the bedroom I binned some packaging and a toothbrush as I had just replaced both of ours but my husband didn't throw his away.
I managed to lose one whole pound last week (sarcastic, oh wow!) and I noticed that one of my dresses feels too big already (I always notice any weight loss straight away on my bottom half) so I kept it to use as nightwear so that went into my pyjama drawer.
I did buy a handbag from the chazzer today, but I know I went through my bags recently so I wanted to keep all of them.

Once you've reached maintenance stage, and are looking how to make some extra money: become a professional photo organizer! An article in yesterday's (Dutch) newspaper showcased a 68-year old lady who made €4,000/month organising other people's photos! Sometimes just digitally organising them, sometimes making photo albums.

Eldest DS decided to swap his room round so we had to empty his massive wardrobe to move it and his bed which comes into 2 bits once mattress is off. Sorted and all back away and hoovered etc. I went walk with dog while he looked after youngest for me then we had pancakes
DD has hoovered upstairs for me so other than folding washing when it's dry it's just feeding everyone washing up after etc15 -
Well done those decluttering weight! I am only decluttering snacks, and desperately need to do something about it. I may have to declutter money to a slimming club in the hopes of finding any motivation. I can generally only do it if I'm presently obsessed with it (thanks adhd!).
I will be decluttering an Apron that I don't like, but I have replaced it with two more from v-intedMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

One of my roommates is really upset about the coverage given Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl Game. He gets really agitated about her. His daughter is absolutely crazy about her - I think she has memorized every song. Thank goodness he is in California and she is in Missouri. Bad enough with all the emails going back and forth.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Managed to chip one of the soup bowls by dropping it into the dw. Most frustrating after Sunday’s performance.
Deleted some emails whilst waiting for medical appointment. Too tired to do anything else today.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅14 -
