Thanks salad dodger I need a stint in the tlc carriage....maybe next Tuesday when son back at school
Due to son's issues I've spent alot of today stripping beds and washing and drying
Also got headache caused by pet plan and pet insurance renewals and trying to pick a cooker hood thingy. It's one where it has a cupboard door on front of it that you lift up to use it.... struggling to find one same18 -
Evening all. Thank you Mrs SD, the trip to London was as close to success as could be. Eldest dd managed 6 hours out of the house so I am taking that as a victory. She wasn't 'happy' and looked quite stressed even though we took her ear defenders, fidget toys and chew buddies.
I have today had the forms through for the paediatric dept assessment- one for me to fill out and 2 for the school to do. The form is generic but I am concerned that as a lot of the form isn't the way that dd is, that we might not get an assessment 😔 I have a book that one of the school mums has given me and it is pretty much a tick for most of the signs but the form.is different.
Ds has been poorly since Monday night - d &v and I have enough washing from that alone to fill the week. No real decluttering done but I am sure after half term next week I will crack on.
I have treated myself to..... an adult scooter (dh thinks I have cracked) hoping to collect next week and then I will take the kids out scooting (they already have one each) I haven't told them so I can't wait to see the looks on their faces 🤣.
@ vulpix - I am always on right move planning the next one too 🥰.
Hope your dsis feels a lot better soon Mrs SD.

Just popping back in quickly as I've managed more decluttering somehow. Will be doing some important sitting later as I'm knackered! At least I'd planned the cinema for tomorrow, so sitting it scheduled for much of the dayFrog almost swallowed, then popped back up again as I hadn't done all the zillion steps in exactly the right order *sigh*. Have to wait 24 hours apparently before trying again, so fingers crossed for tomorrow instead.Oh - and the big news... *drum roll* I found glasses frames and sunglass frames! All ordered and lots of money decluttered. Hoping I don't have to do that again for quite a few years.Digital:

I have been reading along at times but can't quite recall who I was going to say which comments to mostly
Mrs SD, I hope your DSis is improving snf home soon.
@Dfw38 hope the assessment goes as well as it can. 6 hours out of the home for you dd sounds as if you should count as a success.
Agree with Floss about seeing glasses as jewellery and cost per wear!
I'd bought a short khaki mac ( is nicer than it sounds).which I wore tonight and generally getting much better at wearing new clothes.
Small bureau/desk in hall collected tonight, a day early by the next person I offered it to, and pencil sharpener, pen out and few other small bits. Charity lined up to take more furniture but not for 2 weeks and need to get rid of things that should go in furniture but I tend to leave out.
Forgot my nos so rounding up to 310 as I always forget some things .17 -
Had stress test for heart - went better than expected. Now just have to wait and see what the results are. Cleaned a 6 inch stack of papers this morning into the trash bin and another 6 inches into the drawer where they belong. Most areas I am down to very little left - only papers and books giving me trouble with decluttering - and a couple of roommates. May have to declutter them to get anything cleaned up! Getting ready for a new rain storm coming in a couple of days - expected to last about 5 days. Just have to make sure the hot chocolate and the tea are ready to go. G made pizzas for dinner tonight - and used the cat's favorite cheese up and now cat is pouting. I will have to go to pick up more cheese to get back in her good graces tomorrow. Also to make sure we don't run out during the rain storm. Fortunately our book sale will be indoors and will be before the rains come.
Four bags stuffed with plastic bags ready to go out to the book sale. Just need to get another batch of books ready to go.
Stay dry and warm everyone.21 -
1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
14:00 DH has just informed me that DSis is all packed ready to come home once the pharmacist has visited her. He headed off a few minutes later. I had a nice long bath & was dressed just in time to welcome them both back (Home by taxi) at 15:55 - although I did need to untangle & comb through my hair once they were back. So DSis aka Salad Sister is home 7 days & 10 hours after she left 🥳 She looks so much better & can breathe properly now. The relief is palpable 😮💨 I spent the afternoon listening to hospital tales 😉 She has been very well looked after & has come back with even more meds & several sheets of breathing exercises 🙂 The dinner I had planned sausages, mash & beans ended up just for DH & me - DSis fancied something lighter so had fish in breadcrumbs & green beans. Happiness all round that she is home. We will sort out the unpacking tomorrow i.e. later today. Wudupa. We spent the evening watching New Tricks & House of Games 😉
257 - 259 Kitchen recycling, cardboard packaging, drinks cans - recycled
