Took DGS Ben to his dental appointment first thing this morning and then dropped him back to their family home back to my house and my old friend turned up and took me out for a belated birthday lunch which was delicious and when she went home she left with an armful of jigsaws so they have gone to a good home .
Tomorrow morning its Dobbies coffee morning as its Tuesday, and in the afternoon I am taking DGS Jack back to his house, on site at the school where he teaches in Goudhurst as on Wednesday being Valentines night he is taking his lovely girl friend out for a meal. DGS Mikey is coming home tomorrow night for a few days, and Wednesday the other two boys are off back to London as they fly off to Marrakesh for a few days break ,apparently its 30c at the moment I told them to bring some sunshine home with themRoll on the spring the bulbs had a nice day of sun today ,but I think thats it for this week
Back to decluttering on Wednesday, It will be starting to do the wardrobes this week I think . Far too many clothes that are too big or I will just never wear ,and even some I never have ! ! ! Looks like the CS going to get a few visits later this week

Hi everyone,,
Been busy today. Went round the house with filler and filled every little imperfection and some holes where I have moved pictures. Will give them a little sand down tomorrow, I don't think the paint needs touching up as I can hardly see where they were. This is the start of my getting the house ready for a valuation. So lots of gardening and outside painting is on my list. The weather is just a little bit too cold for me yet. Nesh, moi? Also we have had a letter to say our private road is due to be resurfaced by the canal and river trust as a thank you for digging the road up for weeks last year. This will be road surface type 2.Apparently people complained at the last resurfacing, that the stone was too big. It's free love. but whatever. Not having potholes can only be a plus. I can see it being a few months before I am ship shape for a valuation.
Been to Mum's this afternoon and started packing up the sittingroom. She has a lot of Beswick horses and I knocked ones leg clean off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! will take glue next time I go and hope she doesn't notice. I take boxes of stuff to her and she sorts it and then I distribute it. Went to the chazzer with some stuff of mine,4 pink heart plates and the trousers I bought a couple of weeks ago which are too big. Plus a bin bag of vintage tins and old jigsaws from Mum. Think George Vl coronation jigsaw etc. The charity shop sells vintage stuff to a dealer. Had a long chat with the manageress, she has just sold her Mum's house and has found it very difficult. I have also arranged for a gardener to maintain Mums garden today too. Just need to catch the builder now for some pointing where rain comes in above a window in Mum's sitting room.
Tomorrow I will drop off the 4 cat blankets that I made from blanket ends at the cat sanctuary.
I have decided to paint the understairs cupboard doors. Just because I haven't got enough to do!

So I've decluttered a few things. First of all warmth as I have been for my first lido swim for two weeks. Then came home and got rid of a wooden heart, a cushion, a book, some leaflets and packaging, some stain paint and a bag of potato flour.
I then ended up decluttering some dust and dirt as the potato flour got knocked over the kitchen floor. Got out the hoover and decided I may as hoover all the downstairs floors. So it's all looking lovely and I am now sitting down to continue knitting the never ending scarf19 -
Given that I feel relatively under control at the moment, I am relaxing my 10 physical item declutter per day and just changing it to decluttering anything everyday. Could be simply 1 single digital/physical item. The house is not perfect as there are some things I know I need to deal with, but it's very presentable. It'll also give me a chance to catch up on the tidying and hopefully cement some new habits which means it doesn't get in a mess. I'm currently making DS do a 5-10 minute tidy of his room every evening to hopefully stop it getting in a state. Not bothered about a perfectly tidy room, but it does need to be functional and the rule that all the lego bits have to be off the floor stays! No standing on tiny bits of Lego for me..No decision yet on the bird food container and not sure why I'm finding that one so difficult to deal with. I might give myself a break, clean it out and then put it in the loft to see if I do use it in the future. I don't mind having a small amount of containers up there as I do often need to swap things about (usually kids stuff) as our house changes.I'm still dealing with 10 emails a day and have been all year, but got the same amount in the inbox that I had at the start of the year. I mean it isn't helped by buying a fair few things in January (and then you get a million emails per purchase) and also changing my broadband that apparently warranted over 30 emails to me! I wanted the 10 as I don't want to deal with more than that on an ongoing maintenance basis and hoped it would be just under so I can slowly reduce the inbox size. Again I have made no real decisions here yet and will be keeping them at 10 a day until I decide what is best. I'm probably kidding myself that I get less than that and I've unsubscribed to everything I wanted to already I think. I did go to the end of the inbox though and deal with some very old emails which included some frogs in them.Digital:New total = 3,183

Lovely sunny morning here in the north . Thought about decluttering the wardrobe then thought better of it ;-).

Arrgh ... another person not turned up to collect bureau. Had so much interest but went for this person although they delayed collecting and now haven't turned up! But charity turned up to collect large unit so that's gone, and old blutac and other bits from the back of it out! Other things promised to people who also have confirmed collection - I now get while people just put things out on garden wall....
Feeling overwhelmed with work and stuff, and behind with frogs, abandoned plans for swim to get more done. Have arranged for ad hoc clean to help me tomorrow after work. Stressful having to tidy but swamped and DD1 coming to look after cats at the weekend when I'm away but after doing a night shift at the hospital so can't ask her to sort my stuff, and hoping to have friends round later this month before my v large dining table goes (fingers crossed).
Mrs SD hope your DSis is getting better, and also others in the TLC carriage.
Have posted more on free and paid for sites. Just need more hours in the day or days in the week!

After spending the week in the carriage coughing and then working until 11pm Saturday night I've done very little decluttering other than finishing some books and catching up some TV.Lunchtime i decided to combine the weak sunshine and decluttering and pruned my large hydrangea plus some brambles which were hiding behind it.
i also decluttered my job today telling my manager I was retiring at the end of May, approximately 100 days😁 just need to finish the paperwork frogs for my pensions
