and the source for this sensational news is.....?

if you read the articles they are entitled to more time to make any payments, the papers are just headline grabbing!

And for what its worth, they were around before they had FA Cup and Internationals, so nothing to stop them carrying on in the future providing a good priced alternative to Sky

just cant see what peoples problems are with this company, yes the cancellation process is a bit mess up, want to no why cause people send in emails just saying you want to cancel (thats it, no details how are we posed to find you), then ppl get the email address wrong, when its requests@setanta.com not request@setanta.com no wonder ppl never get replys sending it to the wrong place!! it only takes to mins to sent a email when ppl do it every day but dnt wna send a email to cancel. if you read your T&C that you got sent out (which uses are guna say use didnt recieve when we no u do) it states in them under the cancellation process (READ). ppl on freeview to its not are fault you aint able to recieve setanta in your area before you sub then notice after 2 weeks your being charged for sumfing you havent got, they send the signial to you its up to you to have the correct equipment. o and another fing bank charges is your own fault they dont no if you have muni in your acc, they just go to the bank if its not there fine you'l recieve a letter but its the bank thats charges you cause of your mistake!!

As far as I can see, Setanta don't publish the cancellation e-mail address in the terms & conditions, on their website, or elsewhere?

Perhaps fewer people would get it wrong if Setanta made more effort to publish it?

In my experience observing the terms & conditions, corresponding to the correct address and including all required information to be identified, is no guarantee that Setanta will process changes (including cancellations) efficiently.
• Scruf, I imagine the issues are more down to the fact that idiots such as yourself work for the company. Read your email back ( if you can ) and see if you can find any fault. I suggest you also familiarise yourself with your own terms and conditions and read all the posts to discover why people with far greater IQs and aspirations in life are getting so frustrated by the way !!!!! such as yourself can neither spell or construct a sentence, two basic requirements in responding to the "phantom" emails that your joke of a company are allegedly not receiving.
• SCruf, sorry in your langwadge it mean i don ganna wanna no wot u fink coz use a gim[p.
