You don't get any notice from Barclays themselves until a few days in where you might get a letter through the post, or a letter adding to your online document section.

Ideally the bank your switching from let you know they got a transfer request. I did the switch from Chase and they texted the day it started, as well as the day it completed.

No. Switch completed 21st Nov. No bonus yet and no cashback ever been paid or pending even though 3 transactions completed

Got my tenner from the 5% cashback and cancelled Blue Rewards; couldn't take a screenshot to confirm, but did get an email saying I wouldn't be on the hook for the £5 fee from now on.

same for me, my switch completed on 21 November.  hopefully not too much longer to wait
