my £5 came out this morning - no switch bonus yet though0

the batch that were paid on the 20th hit peoples accounts around 10:20am by the looks of it or possibly earlier.... trying not to read too much into that as Barclays don't see to do things like other (better organised) banks seem to2

My £5 went out today but no bonus for me yet either. Just did an online chat with an unhelpful Barclays agent asking them to confirm I’m eligible / when getting paid and asking about plans to pay out today or 4th Jan. She wouldn’t answer it despite asking if just these two dates / paying out on any other dates / January is after my 28 days etc. Will not be happy if have to wait till January. Barclays are definitely the worst bank I’ve used in terms of switching to and will be glad to get bonus and leave them as soon as next switch offer comes upSave 12K in 2020. Number 134

My feelings entirely. Paid the £5 today, have £10 cashback winging its way to me from a £200 spend. Once I have that I'll cancel the Blue Rewards. I've set up a switch to the Co-op on December 21st. Once I receive that, it will take me up to £2460 in switching bonuses. Better than any savings account. Be a while before I'll be able to switch again I guess, but can still get further £125 from the Co-op if I find "friends" to refer, which I would imagine wont be too hard. Who doesn't like a free £125.2

Does anyone know if there is a way to check the switch went through? Or best to just do it again? I tried calling Barclays and the person was less than useful.0

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
