I have just bought £200 worth of premium bonds with the debit card which is linked to the Blue rewards cash back card. Hopefully this will generate the £10 cash back. Also due to complete switch on 5 December.0

Worked for me and OH in November, we took £199 out to keep the NS&I account open and just bought again yesterday so hopefully tracks again over the course of next week.CRISPIANNE3 said:I have just bought £200 worth of premium bonds with the debit card which is linked to the Blue rewards cash back card. I made a £200 NS&I transaction on Fri to cover my Dec cashback, which has already tracked. Withdrawal to my current account is now in progress. I've been depositing into a direct saver account, but also good to know PBs qualify. Here's hoping they pay out twice again

Interesting, I did the same. Checked at about 10am and it hadn't tracked yet (but transaction no longer pending on statement), checked again just now and it had.PRAISETHESUN said:pecunianonolet said:If you don't want to have actual spend, buy £200 of Premium Bonds, wait until it has tracked and transaction has cleared and withdraw the cashback and cash in the Premium Bonds again. Same here. Checked this morning and it wasn't there, checked just now and it was. Withdrawal requested (it didn't show in the main part of the app as that was only correct as of 01/12/2023 - had to click through). Just let my 2 DDs pay out in the early part of this month, cancel Blue Rewards and I should get the £5 back in January that they're going to take on Monday.

That seems to be controversial. It appears that if you cancel Blue Rewards in December there will be no reward payable in January. It won't make any difference whether or not your DDs pay this month. I thought the same as you until I was convinced otherwise.miller said:Same here. Checked this morning and it wasn't there, checked just now and it was. Having re-read the T&Cs I agree as they wont be able to pay the £5 reward into the closed rewards wallet. I'll bail out when the £10 lands.

If they pay out the bonus tomoz
I have no interest in the cash back
What are my best options to cancel Blue Rewards
I have already done the 800 24th Nov
No direct debits will go out until end of Dec now
Will they still take the £5 charge out0 -
They will take the £5 if you joined Blue Rewards by the end of November in time to qualify for the bonus. There is no need to do anything this month if you are going to cancel Blue Rewards. For me, 2 x £10 cashback was to good to resist.Johnny-Cage said:If they pay out the bonus tomoz

If I cancel Blue Rewards once they paid out the bonus and £800 goes in and out this month with 2 DD’s do I still qualify for the £5 or will that terminate soon as I cancel BRmasonic said:
