I received £10 cashback from NS&I payment, but my partner hasnt. If you click to raise a missing cashback, it comes up with retailers, of which NS&I is not present, nor is there any "other" option. Anyone else been in this situation and raised it somehow?

I messaged NatWest (where I am switching from) and they assured me Direct Debits were set up but (gave me a list of names) but said they don't show up in the Direct Debit category in the app or in online banking until they have been paid for the first time. I hope I'll be fine. Very confusing as other banks have DD listed as soon as they are set up.MasterplanC said:
Sadly I started my switch yesterday just before midnight now because I got scared … I guess there is no way to delay now to hope for my DD to show up in time?masonic said:
This gives people a way to delay their switch by an extra day if needed. Just wait until after the (7pm?) cut-off time for the switching service, and the switch won't start until Friday.MAinline421 said:It's 23:59 tomorrow. Full credit to Barclays they actually called me in the middle of the night to reslove this after I tweeted them 👍0 -
Yeah I think it is listed like "bank funded" near the top of the list.DJSINGH said:I received £10 cashback from NS&I payment, but my partner hasnt. I’ve just had an interesting in-app conversation with a Barclays representative. I was asking why my £175 bonus hadn’t been paid yet, despite my switch completing on the 10th November and meeting all the T&Cs, but my husband, whose switch completed on 17th November, received his £175 on 20th November.
The rep said the Bonus Payments are scheduled to take place on the 2nd December 2023 and 2nd January 2024, so my payment should be in my account on Monday 4th December as the 2nd is a Saturday. He confirmed that I had met all the T&Cs.
He said it wasn’t possible for my husband to have already received his payment (even though we know that he and many others did!) so maybe as a previous poster suggested, it was a test run on 20th November?
Anyway, hope this helps anyone who has met all the T&Cs but hasn’t received their £175 yet, and I will certainly be checking my account on Monday 😀.

Knowing Barclays' record on paying out blue rewards, they'll probably pay it twice.Northern_Mum said:I’ve just had an interesting in-app conversation with a Barclays representative. You're completely correct, though it's worth noting firstly, you don't need to spend £200 - you get 5% cashback on spend up to £200 - so even if you spend £100, you still get £5. Secondly, you have the whole month to spend the £200 so whether it's shopping, fuel, presents etc, it can all add up. It runs for November and December and the £5 is negated by 2x DD pulls in the month provided you pay in the £800 (which can be done in 16x £50 if you really want)Johnny-Cage said:
Why is it silly. Not everyone has the means to spend £200 right now, so the poster could take offence to your postZopa_Trooper said:
That was a bit silly. I've no plan to cancel the Blue Rewards until I get my £10 cashback payment for spending £200 in December, I've already had the November one. £175 + £10 + £10 - £5 equals a very happy bunny.northwalesd said:
I did not pay in £800 for Blue Rewards, I have had the incentive payment and cancelled BR.Mickeymacca said:I have been following (and contributing to this thread in case anyone suggests I go back and read the whole thing) just wondering if anyone who already got the switch incentive didn't pay in £800 for the blue rewards?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

thanks @Northern_Mum I saw something similar on a Reddit forum about those payment dates too so good to have it confirmed. (as much as Barclays can confirm anything with any degree of certainty!)0

Gosh, many thanks for posting this @Northern_Mum - you got more sense out of a rep than I did.

Hi, can anyone clarify: MSE says offer ends today but Barclays terms seems to imply you need to have done it before the 30th Nov?
Anyone know for sure? Don't want to start switch now if no cashback!0 -
Hopefully what he told me is correct - we’ll see on Monday. If I don’t get my payment then, I will be straight back on to Barclays!DiamondLil said:Northern_Mum said:I’ve just had an interesting in-app conversation with a Barclays representative.
