Barclays £175 switch offer - new customers only, Nov 1 - 30 2023

Due to Paypal screwing up, I've had to hold off doing a switch for my Barclays account. Reason being is that my Paypal DD has been delayed considerably. I added money to my Paypal account on the 8th Nov and Paypal originally said it would be done by 16th Nov. Now it's changed to blooming 23rd Nov:-
My moneybox is setup though. So I'm now in two minds whether to start the switch for me in a few days or hold until the money leaves the nationwide account.
Also I've gone ahead with Partner's switch for Barclays as Moneybox and Plum are setup now for Nationwide.
A quick question - Is it true that if I switch to Barclays using my Paypal as one of the DDs, I have to set it up again once the switch has happened?

Is the Paypal dd showing in Nationwide?

If so, it shouldn't be a problem. It's possible that PayPal automatically pushes the estimated arrival date back if it isn't received on time, and it might only be a day or two late.Regarding PayPal after switching, someone mentioned that it will continue to work, but the details in PayPal will continue to show the old account.1 -

So I have a Chase account with 2 DD, one has already paid out, the other has not, and will not until the 1st Dec. It actually shows in my Chase account, but not paid out yet. If i switch to Barcleys will still be eligible for the switching bonus, or do both have to be paid out?

They don't need to be paid out0

Once visible in online banking, you should be good to go.
