Good you picked up on this and also good they have people eligible who are not on the current WHD.
There is multiple requirements, assuming the updated article is now accurate. So WHD status alone is not enough.
Either :a) Eligible for Warm Home Discount Core groups 1 & 2, Broad group Scotland, or customers previously eligible for Broad group in England & Wales and your household income falls within a low affordability threshold
or …

Has anyone considered Eon Next have a maximum number of customers they can give this to, it will affect their profit line after all. So unfair as it is some will win and some will lose out.0

After a second visit from MSE, they shouldnt be still in this position.0 -

T&C is probably wrong at this point I guess. but after a second visit from MSE, they shouldnt be still in this position.MultiFuelBurner said:Has anyone considered Eon Next have a maximum number of customers they can give this to, it will affect their profit line after all. I have said this before but can't remember if it was in this thread (so apologies if I'm just repeating myself) but they either need to honour their own criteria - which they were free to set from the start, nobody's making them include so many groups of people - or tighten the criteria if it turns out too many people would qualify.
OR at least be honest and say it's actually at their discretion so people will miss out.0 -

That haven't changed, the blog had to change to align with them (as it now does).
So whats your thoughts on the changed statement given to MSE? Which conflicts with the T&C.

So whats your thoughts on the changed statement given to MSE? Which conflicts with the T&C.Looking at it directly, it doesnt, but what you pasted was missing a fair bit of key information, so the T&C does actually state just been on the WHD is not enough. So need to be on the WHD and be an existing customer before the cutoff date, and pay by fixed DD, and not block install of a smart meter. If tifo confirms all those applies he/she should probably escalate it.1 -

Looking at the T&Cs, I quality under (a) 'Eligible for Warm Home Discount Core groups 1 & 2, Broad group Scotland, or customers previously eligible for Broad group in England & Wales and your household income falls within a low affordability threshold' but they're asking me to apply under (c) 'your annual household income is under £19,000 and you have an income and expenditure deficit (I&E)'.0
