Nationwide rebranding

On the second line take the first letter of the third word and the last 3 letters of the last word.😂0

My, a hundred posts in two days just because Nationwide have changed their logo.
Goodness knows what would happen if they were to, say, start giving away £ millions to Johnny Come Latelys who've only joined for the switch bonus and the 5% current account.3 -

I'm glad I'm not the only person who saw that. As a 42 year old mother of 3 I was a little ashamed of myself... I hope the new strapline is out of reach of spray paint or even a strategic bit of masking tape etc on their branch windows...MACKEM99 said:On the second line take the first letter of the third word and the last 3 letters of the last word.😂5 -

I think the criticism here (other than the very valid points about accessibility issues) is of Nationwide's strategy - what exactly are they trying to achieve? When they claim to be a "modern mutual" I can't help but think of 'modern auctions'... a terrible idea designed to part the gullible from their money. Seems appropriate then.P.s. it isn't just "because Nationwide have changed their logo" - its about everything else which goes with it.5 -
Anyone else remember this?

Don't see the point. I open accounts with financial institutions based on their offers of a suitable return. It has nothing to do with their logo. Nationwide offers me an 8% reg saver and others go there for the £200 switch bonus. I couldn't care less what their new logo shows.0
