Nationwide rebranding

Massive house eating pacman - putting me in mind of repossessions.
Trendily lower case company name.
Spurious full stop on strapline.
I could have done a better job for just £25,000.

The advert is as dull and flat as the rebrand.1
-
That is one of the problems with the rebrand. It feels so cooperate and lacks any character whatsoever. At least the old Nationwide had a sort of traditional and trusting feel to their branding, but this one is just dull. Dull logos, dull colours, an advert that is probably trying to be funny but in the end, is just dull.Lions_89 said:The advert is as dull and flat as the rebrand.4 -
its awful, i am thinking of changing banks after this !!!!!! show of a change1

I wouldn’t go that far unless they change actual methods of banking, but it does seem they are moving away from what nationwide are well known for.tiger135 said:its awful, i am thinking of changing banks after this !!!!!! show of a change
it does remind me of that time when they renamed Royal Mail.1 -

There's not much point in changing simply because they've rebranded as NationWest, however their app is like something from the stone age and it would make sense to switch to a modern bank like Monzo or Starling whether they have rebranded or not.

I am used to the app, often have to log in to the desktop version to close an account.
I guess I dont know what I am missing as never used monzo or starling.0 -
