Use the word "erase" not remove - it has special meaning in this respect.

I sent info.scot@dcblegal.co.uk an email confirming my new address, asked them to 'erase' my old address from their database & included everything you suggested to write them. I also wrote it in the suggested tone.
I will now ignore them, but I will update again if I get a more serious looking letter. Thank you everyone, I am glad I asked for help so I was able to confirm my new address and not get myself into bother. I will need to re-read the newbies thread as its been so long. I appreciate everyone's patience with me.
