@Umkomaas so I should ignore all letters unless it's a court summons? Thank you
You won't get a summons because it is not a criminal matter.

Debt collectors are powerless and can do absolutely nothing except send poor quality bog paper, which might be useful if there is another shortage.
I scan mine and save the electronic versions on a hard drive, then turn the originals into paper briquettes, taking photos as I do so, and then send photos of me putting them on my fire to the debt collectors just to wind them up.
I should start setting fire to them, it's freezing here!

    *UPDATE*

I moved address and I hadn't heard from them, so I thought they gave up. Today I received a letter from 'DCB LEGAL' with an outstanding balance of £175. I will attach.

Should I continue to ignore? TIA.

Just a reminder, I stayed 13 minutes over the stated time, I made the mistake of replying with proof of a blue badge that was mine and in use (indirectly admitting I parked there, which I now realise was a mistake) and said legally disabled people have an allowance over the alloted time, so they had to give me some leeway. They claimed it was outwith the time to appeal, but I didn't get the letter in time to appeal.

As another commenter suggested, should I reply to confirm I moved address? They stopped sending letters and I moved address and forgot about the whole thing, until I received this today. My father was ill for a year and passed last month, so the parking ticket was not on my mind. I am still in Scotland, should I still email and confirm I have moved address and then ignore (as the other person suggested)? Thanks

Inverurie Greens was the carpark! Many people get tickets there.

Thank you so much, I will email them in the morning! I will confirm I have moved address and ask them to remove my old address. I appreciate all the help!
