But there are none. Inverurie is in Scotland. Nothing will happen.Scottishpixie said:@ZeldaMayCry, I have just received a ticket from a car park in Inverurie, again 13 minutes over the hour. Just wondering what the outcome of your case was. The car park owner has stated they cannot help me and to appeal to UKPC. We all know that is a waste of time. I know the advice is do nothing but I can't afford to pay increased charges down the line
Why not just search the forum?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Do you really think that doing nothing will lead to increased charges?Scottishpixie said:I know the advice is do nothing but I can't afford to pay increased charges down the line
@Scottishpixie, I can't think why you would, but if you need further help then please start a new thread.
Trying to deal with the different issues of two different people in one thread can only lead to confusion.4 -
All three of these companies know all about Scotland and Scotland knows all ABOUT the extortion of money
UKPC tried Scotland using CST Law which was a complete disaster for UKPC and CST Law
Worth reading the CST LAW GROUP THREAD on here to which UKPC are the main feature ....... or the main failure4 -

I was in Inverurie, what car park was it? I just received another threatening letter today lolScottishpixie said:@ZeldaMayCry, I have just received a ticket from a car park in Inverurie, again 13 minutes over the hour. UPDATE
I received another letter from DCBL today (22.3.24)
Its similar to the last one which said i had to pay within 14 days, but this one says I have to pay today, as they have referred the matter to their client to 'review commencing legal action'.
They then go on to describe court actions, and the possibility of receiving a CCJ which could affect my credit score.
I'm join to assume that I just continue to ignore them at this point, as per all previous advice? I know someone told me that I didn't need to do anything unless it was an actual court summons, so I think this is just another issue of ignoring them.
Thanks to everyone for their help so far!

You do as advised in the Newbies/FAQ thread. DCBL are a third party debt collector and have no "finger in the pie". They cannot do anything. They can refer the matter to their client but they cannot commence any legal action.
In other words, ignore anything from DCBL or any other debt collector.2 -
The BIG question is do DCBL really want to make complete idiots of themselves in Scotland just like CST did with UKPC ?
PAY TODAY THEY SAY ... SO FUNNY they really are getting beyond themselves

Thanks, I assumed I was to ignore them. I initially read the newbies thread when I first posted here, but I had already contacted them, which was not advised. So I panicked and posted here 😅 Everyone has made me feel so much better though with their advice.nopcns said:You do as advised in the Newbies/FAQ thread. I have already told them I refused to pay them. I said they'd have to take me to court if they wanted to convince the judge to make a disabled person (on benefits), who was 13 minutes over the time limit pay, £170 + court fees. They ignored that, and just send random letters 💁🏼♀️ Which I've ignored based on the advice on this thread!1 -
They use a lot of scary, ambiguous language. I have poor reading comprehension, so I went online to make sure if they had any legal powers like they made it sound. I'm glad I did now, but it's disgusting that they make so much money from people with poor reading comprehensive, who'd panic and pay them.patient_dream said:The BIG question is do DCBL really want to make complete idiots of themselves in Scotland just like CST did with UKPC ?
