Good luck for your breathing test @Toni'sfriend, & welcome to @laura_lau.
Used up some mushrooms that were starting to go past their best, & made a stir-fry with other veg & a sachet of sauce, for dinner today & tomorrow. Work went ok. DS3 asked me to top up his card to pay for his dinners, so was a spend day. Transferred money to my brother too, as it's his birthday at the weekend.
Had a nap after work, then did my 100 skips & shortened 2 pairs of trousers. Haven't achieved half the things I wanted tonight, will try better tomorrow.
Grateful for a tasty dinner, DH getting on ok at the hospital today, DS1 getting his share of the summer tipsUse it up, wear it out

Tuesday 3rd October 2023
Why did she make things? Well she enjoyed it of course, but it also somehow helped her remember who she was and where she came from.
Nine times out of ten, when I lose something, it's because I put it in a safe place.
One thing no talks about (about) being an adult is how much time you 'debate yourself' on keeping a cardboard box because it's a really really good box.
Things to Quit this year
Comparing yourself with strangers
Pushing yourself over your limits
Overthinking and self doubts
Saying "yes" to everything
Blurring the line between work and life

This turtle is in Florida waters for the next few weeks. I’ll be reading along because tea in bed in the morning and catching up on turtle chat is part of my relaxing morning routine. There will be no NSD while here but I’ll be keeping to our budget (and hopefully a bit under).Good luck in your goals this month lovely turtles xNST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸12

Have a lovely time, idee
NSD No 1 although I did have to pay for taxis to and from the hospital. The only bus that takes us there is now only one an hour and totally unreliable. Surprisingly I passed the breathing tests with flying colours although I still couldn't blow up a balloon, Dawn.
Eventually I managed to speak to someone in the council about the gas safety check. When I explained my difficulties the lady couldn't have been nicer. She went out of her way to give me another date and said if it turns out that I'm given another hospital appointment on that date to phone her back and she's sort something else out. Such a pleasure to speak to someone so helpful.
Soup for dinner and loads left over to freeze. A bit at sixes and sevens just now but we'll get ourselves sorted out a bit more tomorrow.
Have a lovely evening. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9 -

Hi Grandmanerd
I’m a bit late for the party but please may I still join.
A new start is definitely what we need. I’m six weeks on from cancer surgery and now OH is also ill and just out of hospital. So we both have had a wake-up call. Time to look after ourselves better and plan for the future. Neither of us know when or if we will return to work, so we need to plan just in case.
Anyway enough for now
Have a good month everyone

DHs birthday done and dusted (nothing else is dusted in this house). Too much toing and froing between Architects, Surveyors, Agents and builders today. Can't they all just talk to each other? they know what they are talking about. I haven't the foggiest. But no, I am in the middle playing Chinese whispers.
Had DS3 off school 'sick' but I am a bit worried that I am being played.
Grateful for good news, things moving forwards, stuffed apples 🍏🍎, not panicking about money this month (so far) £250 on the PBs4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

ldee, watch out for 'gators! Have a fab time.Cuddlymarm (you autocorrected to cuddly arm!!!), sounds like you need to rest up on the chaise longue and take it easy xxToday I am grateful for bumping into various friends as I was out and about, for mild weather, for kettle bells, for painkillers for dc, for the toy stuffing I was gifted back in July being absolutely wonderful stuff for needlefelting and making stabbing so satisfying.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!12
