Thank you @pollyanna_26 for your kind words, they made me smile 😃
Another inspiring one today @grandmanerd. Had to laugh at where to stick the box! 🤣
Woke up at stupid o'clock with the washing ma home spinning, nodded off again briefly to a very vivid dream, which thankfully wasn't true!
Work went fine. I'm a 1:1 Support for Learning Assistant, so days can be challenging at times, but very rewarding too. Went a different way home & bought a couple of items off a local selling page.
Changed DS1's bedding ready for his return tomorrow night (he is currently sleeping on a bench outside Naples airport, as they lock the building at night!). After tea I shortened the sleeves on a sweatshirt for someone, then finished my quilled picture. Sewed a few buttons on some sproutmas tree decorations, ready for craft fayres at the end of next week & the week after.
Grateful that DS1 is at the airport & will be home this time tomorrow, that it stayed dry at breaktimes, that the day went ok, seeing my colleagues againUse it up, wear it out

Thank you for the challenge, Grandmanerd.
I didn't achieve a lot but every aspect of my life has moved on a little for the better and that's all you can ask for really.
Looking forward to sparkling in November. xxxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8 -
Last day of October, and Halloween 👻🎃👻. Payday, which was a Treat, but I have not been paid for one day - so I feel Tricked.
Thank you for running the October thread @grandmanerd. I am in a much better place at the end of this month than I was at the start. I am 4lbs down and in the right mindset to reduce my girth further in November. While the motivation is here, I might as well go with it. This thread is a great way to keep me accountable and to make me look at why I behave the way I do, and how I need to change to get where I need to be. Thank you to all my fellow Turtles 🐢❤️🐢 and lurker future turtle friends. See you in November.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Good afternoon ⛅
I couldn't agree more with f0xh0les:
"This thread is a great way to keep me accountable and to make me look at why I behave the way I do, and how I need to change to get where I need to be"
Thanks to grandmanerd and apple (and anyone else!) who takes the reigns each month and guides us through! We appreciate you!!!!
Appointment with Occupational Health today and not really any farther forwards with regards to work due to HR dragging their heels, which is frustrating, so for the time being I'm just focussing on getting myself well. I too feel though, that I am in a better place than I was at the start of the month so that is a positive.
Today I am grateful for:
1) Supportive doctor who listened to me go on
2) Old supportive colleagues and friends
3) Halloween vibes 🎃👻🦇💀👹
Today was a spend day

See you for 01st November tomorrow <sets alarm for 00:01 to get in first pinch-punch haha!> x

Thanks for the October challenge @grandmanerd. Family stuff, so I didn't contribute much, unfortunately. See you all in November

Thank you for October, grandmanerd. It was a month of two distinct halves. The first half was lots of get up and go stuff; the second was snotfest central. So I did plenty of resting, relaxing and resetting.I have enjoyed the month ❤️.See y'all tomorrow xNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5

Thanks for this month's thread @grandmanerd, it's helped me lots.
Cooked my lunch for today & tomorrow before breakfast. Work went well. Dropped sewing off on my way home, the had an appointment for my monthly massage.
After tea, dropped DS3 I to town, on the way to the airport. Was pleased I'd taken my book, cos DS1's plane was delayed by half an hour. But HE'S HOME!! It was so good to see him, didn't care who was watching, gave him a massive hug. He looked really pleased to see me too. He wanted to stop off at T0sco on the way home to get a few bits, including a treat each for me & DH to thank us for our support whilst he was away 😍
Got home, then had to go back to collect DS3, as the bus he was going to catch, never appeared, so he'd managed to catch one to take him halfway home.
Had a quick bath, I'm shattered but happy to have all my boys back under our roof again!
Grateful for work going ok, surprise pupil hugs at the airport, hugs with DS1 & him being home again safe & sound - wild camping in a foreign country is such a worry!!
See you in November!Use it up, wear it out
