3 NSDs so far, not quite as many as I'd hoped but tomorrow is a new day.I'm worn out from working full time, last time I did was from home so a little different. I was off today so caught up on housework and laundry! I've taken lunch to work every day but one, usually I buy lunch there every day so I'm happy with my progress. No coffees bought at work either and I'm sticking to all my budgets.Off to catch up with the thread now xx11

Thank you @f0xh0les, @lcc86 & @apple_muncher, it's been a better day today.
Thanks also @grandmanerd for your post this morning, glad you're doing better too!
NSD#4
Woke DS1 up for work, then finished defrosting the pork to go in the slow cooker.
Hung the washing out (we had showers so I was going to put it on the airer, but DH insisted it go outside, only to be brought in again at dinnertime & have to be spun in the wm!).
I spent most of the day cutting fleece fabric into squares & ribbon, ready to make 21 taggies for craft fayres next month.
In the middle of it all I received a message from the parent calling my son names, asking why I'd unfriended her. Told her politely why & that we have been trying to help her daughter, as she felt she wasn't getting the support she needed at home. Thankfully DS was happy with my replies, when he returned from work & I showed him. Think it made him feel a bit lighter too
Helped DS3 make a pink gingham tie, after tea, for a B4rbie themed disco on Tuesday.
Had a soak in the bath, then received a lovely message with some autumnal photos from my friend in Norway.
Grateful that DS1 is feeling a little better today, news from Norway, helping DS with his tie & getting underway with stock for the fayresUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Please Stop wasting time on things that are contributing to your unhappiness. The job, the people, the restrictive diet. None of it matters more than your own mental health. Let go, without regret. Be proud for standing up and saying"This isn't working". It takes strength and courage to pursue happiness, even when it hurts.
(Alysha Waghorn)
You made a choice to get better and now you must move forward. You must move boldly against any currents. You must be persistent and consistent with your change, no matter what happens. The difference between where you are and where you want to be is in your daily choices and actions to get better and to do better. Don't look back. Don't give up. Don't judge any moments that might cause you to revert back. The point is to reccognize, decide and go forward always. You have a great purpose and it is time to live it out

So. The time has come for me to make a big change. My only DS’s long term partner has MH problems.Which is ok in itself. However over a long long period of time she twists & changes what I say.I try until very recently to be empathetic & to not let it bother me.However I can no longer do this. It is now impacting my life & my mental health. So after DS’s birthday celebrations which were at the weekend I decided that enough was enough.I will no longer have this person in my life.It makes me sad that it has come to this but have now to look after myself.A new chapter begins.I know that I will not see much of DS.I am glad & happy that he is settled & loves his partner.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Great thoughts of the day @grandmanerd, thank you, I definitely needed to hear that!
@abundant1972 I love to spread my recipes to the world, hope you enjoy it!
I had a good weekend, fairly quiet. I did my volunteering on Saturday morning, I'm quite proud as I didn't necessarily feel like it, but I was happy I went in the end. It was a beautiful day and very warm (up to 25 degrees) so it was nice to be out and about. I treated myself to lunch in the cafe at the end of my shift, which was definitely worth it as food is always good (they also have fresh vegetables from their own vegetable gardens!) and I do get a "staff" discount, so it always works out cheaper than any other restaurants.
After I arrived home I happily sat down knitting and watching some podcasts, and I finally managed to separate the sleeves of my OH's cardigan.
Yesterday started more quietly and I made myself a plan for the day, to do a few things I wanted to do, but I ended up finishing reading the book for Book Club tomorrow night, and after that I decided I didn't feel like doing anything so I just relaxed, and got on with crocheting some more stock for my Christmas craft fair.
Work started ok today, had a chat with my manager to discuss goals and the upcoming performance review, so I need to put down a few notes now about how to leverage my strengths. I hate having to stop and think about these things, but, once I've done them, it is quite satisfying, so I really should make the time to properly do some self reflection. It almost makes work become something more mindful, and working towards some achievements that enrich myself as a person, rather than just working towards company objectives. Need to clear my mind to properly do that, though.
Luckily today is a NSD, because it was a spending weekend, and tomorrow will be again a spending day.
Today I am grateful for:- my volunteering place and the fresh vegetables from their garden

Hugs. Beanie and Thrifty, Really difficult situation to be in.
I was supposed to receive a parcel from Amazon yesterday. Hasn't arrived although it was saying all day that it was out for delivery. Gone back to the delivery office last night and saying it would be delivered today. Still not arrived. Appalling service from Royal Mail.
Caught up with some neighbours today. We've all been a right lot of sickies. Covid, flu, food poisoning, etc. Also got a phone call from hospital asking if I would keep my hospital appointment on Wednesday (again), Going to try and push for a bit of time to gather myself together.
Soup from the freezer for tea. Abundant - If you like chicken and rice soup (another great comfort food) just substitute some left over cooked rice for the noodles and some dried herbs for the chilli.
Another early night and my book for me. xxxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.10
