Is Nationwide Fee Free when using your card abroad similar to Starling? I know Starling also uses real Mastercard rate, is Nationwide the same for the visa rate they use.
The quick £200 is really tempting me to move Starling but I love starling and the saving pots which Nationwide do not do. It will have to be instant saver accounts instead isn't it?0 -

Okay, so the switch for both of our RBS accounts to NW has happened today as my money from RBS is now showing in NW. We can still login to the RBS accounts as well, although both are now showing zero balance. We can also see both of the DD.
Does that mean the switch is complete or is there an issue?0 -
I've noticed in the past it takes a few days for the old account to disappear off the app

Not yet, you should get a text when the switch is complete.1

My switch completed a few days ago but haven't received any texts from Nationwide, only the one they sent when switch first started. I assume they just send something when they've confirmed the switch bonus.

I applied for a switch on Tuesday and not heard a thing since, no text no email
Is that normal ?0 -
Hi, quick question, do i need to have the 2 DD set up before I switch to Nationwide or can I do this after the switch?
EDIT - I just answered my own question, I called them to check. You have to have the 2 DD's setup BEFORE you switch in order to qualify for the bonus
