Nationwide Switch Offer £200 September 2023

Just for information as it may apply to some, I've just received the £200 switching incentive despite having received one on 28 August 2021. This is because Nationwide messed up my initial switching credit and had to manually apply it. I assume whatever coding was used is not picked up automatically now. Worth a shot if it applies to anyone else.0

I switched to Nationwide but miss some of the useful aspects of my previous account (Starling). Does anyone know how long you have to keep the account for as I obviously received the £200 incentive0

If you've received the £200 you are free to switch away as soon as you like.Haigh162 said:I switched to Nationwide but miss some of the useful aspects of my previous account (Starling). Does anyone know how long you have to keep the account for as I obviously received the £200 incentive1 -
Just thought I'd mention, to follow up on my previous post, my account switch happened on the 8th Jan and the £200 landed in my account today.jbrassy said:So I notice that the switch offer is no longer available. However, i opened my Nationwide FlexAcount on the 18th December and requested to switch on the same day. I set the switch date to be the 8th January. Does anyone know if they'll still give me the switching bonus? Thanks in advance1 -
I contacted Nationwide, as I could see a card in the app and a current account, they said the account was open and for some reason the delivery of the card was stuck, they re-issued the card, it arrived and the account now works as normal. So it only took two months! I have now applied for the credit card and the application was accepted, but again they have asked for extra ID checks.Lions_89 said:I have kind of given up on nationwide. IM now at five weeks post application and still don’t have an active account. Branch were clueless and they tried to call me twice within an hour a week to and never called again. It’s something to do with ID verification but everything they asked for I have provided.
