NewMoneySaver13 said:General question here, I have had confirmation from a chat conversation that I have completed the criteria to receive the switch incentive. If I were to close this account and switch to another bank before receiving the bonus, would the £150 be passed into my new switched account?NewMoneySaver13 said:I am looking at the Club Lloyds switch for a £175 bonus. However looking at the T&C's it does look like you don't actually need any direct debits. My thinking now is that I could just keep my TSB account open until I receive the £150. Using one of my other non-Lloyds banks I could set up a new current account and just use that account to switch to Lloyds, would that work?
How to get the £175 bonus:
- Open the account online, by phone or in branch.
- Switch in an account from a different bank by 14 November 2023.
- The £175 is paid within three working days of the switch completing.

The wait for the payout here is killing me. Met criteria over 10 days ago but technically it seems it could be another month before money is paid. Chances of getting the payouts and loved to Nationwide before they decide to close off is not looking good.1

I've just been informed that I don't meet the requirements for the switch bonus from TSB. All because I didn't open my account before 9 Oct. I thought I had until today, but, I had to complete the switch before 31 Oct but have opened the account before 9 Oct.
I've also had a nightmare opening the account because of additional ID documents being requested after the account was opened!?! Following a complaint I got a £40 "sorry" from TSB but told I've missed the bonus.0 -

What were the terms of the offer in regards to opening and switching and did you meet them all?0 -
Hi everyone, I’m very new here, this is my first post! I’ve been switching quite a lot (well, this is my third time) recently, the wait for the TSB incentive is really quite tedious! Judging from the timescales previous TSB switches operated according to (and also one of of my friends who took advantage of the last one), we probably won’t receive payment until the week prior to the 30th November. Feels like it’s been an eternity already! Like someone else commenting, I’m also desperately hoping that they payout in time so that I can get the nationwide £200 offer, I’m reluctant to open another account to do that really. At any rate, good luck everyone, only two or three weeks left to go! (I opened my account on 22nd Sept and my full switch completed on 2nd Oct).

I've got a query on the debit card transaction double cashback offer. I've made the number of transactions within October but just seen that some of them are now showing on my account for November. Anyone know if they use the date of transaction or the date applied to the account. All the offer says is "use your card for 20 payments each calendar month" which has been met but not what shows on account.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

This is usually within 5 working days from the day you make the debit card transaction, but sometimes can be longer. You can tell when money is taken from your account by looking at your transactions online or on your statement.2

looks like the last TSB switch bonus was paid around the 13th of August so wonder if this one might get paid mid month and not right at the end?1
