  • Me too. My switch went through on 27/9. Can now go ahead and switch to Barclays 😀
🤣 Just done the same 🤑
  • Wouldn't have looked but for these messages, great mines gone in too.
  • Does anyone know how to escalate a complaint to the ombudsman? I've never done it before. I complained to TSB, and it will have been 8 weeks since on Thursday so I doubt they're going to get back to me about it. The manager phoned me on my mobile and talked to me about my account but didn't go through security, I questioned her about this and she said that she could recognise my voice and I was driving my car so that was enough for her to know it was me and she didn't need to do security. I wasn't even in my car when she called me so I can't see how her judgement is good enough to pick out my voice over the other 8 billion people on this planet! But I'm guessing TSB don't see it as a problem seeing as they haven't got back to me?
I got my reply from them today, they must have realised the 8 weeks was about to run out! Not the reply I was expecting though.

They have spoken with the advisor and have been given a different version of the story. They have said they prefer this version over mine so have closed my complaint. They won't tell me what their version of the story is. They won't tell me why they won't tell me what their version of the story is. They don't have a recording of the phone call, apparently it wasn't recorded in the first place. They won't talk to me any further. Nice to know how they treat people, was a real eye opener.
  • ooh great just got mine too can also go ahead with the Barclays switch

Just tried this and it won’t accept my TSB debit card details for the switch, so I’m not sure what to do now!

    Lets goooooo!
  • @GlasgowExpat2 - my card details were fine but it didn't like my name the first time so I came out of the app and went back in and it was fine.  I'm not gonna lie I'll be glad to ditch Barclays after this switch!

Unlike most of you, I decided to move to nationwide from TSB

I have another Chase account that I'm waiting on a Direct Debit to pay out tomorrow and then I'll move that one to Barclays
  • Husband and I both got our £150 payouts from tab today which was a nice early surprise.

Quickly both put moves into Nationwide and got approved so that's another £400 by the end of the month
