Well done @bubbs and @Longwalker on your losses.
Your butcher @Longwalker is like my local butcher. I'd actually buy that amount of meat from him other than his low fat sausages and burgers but they're really tasty and no fat comes out at all and he doesn't use any cereal in them, he uses egg to bind.
@maman I made the lamb souvlaki and all I can say is it was OK! I think it would probably have been better done on a BBQ. There is a pork souvlaki on the SW website which is done on skewers with onions and peppers and I think that would probably be a better way of doing the lamb one too. The best part of the dinner was the salad and mint yoghurt!

Well done Bubbs and Longwalker.
Well I had a salad before I went out with a boiled egg grated on top which I really liked.
Managed to avoid cookies, donuts and choc cake and just had a cup of tea.
Just had filthy fries from the new SW airfryer recipe book. Bloody lovely with smoked cheese and extra light mayo (which I usually hate) mixed with lemon juice plus sriracha sauce. Will count up the syns in a minute but I think it's only a few plus cheese from healthy A. Starting to get the hang of things a bit.
Will treat myself to some watermelon in a bit plus a dessert of some sort. I've discovered that canderel is tolerable so I mixed some with the natural yoghurt and it tasted pretty good with my berries. Usually detest the taste of artificial sweeteners so I'm happy to have discovered this.
Oh, Longwalker, can you give us the recipe for the overnight oats please? I have peanut butter powder and usually add protein powder too. Could do with a SW type one. Don't like fruity ones so didn't eat them for years. Now I like a peanutty, cocoa one.
1 syn plus hexa for dinner. Not bad as it was so tasty.1 -
I didn't even think that I could have sugar puffs! I'm actually going to go and get some to snack on tonight as that's all I can think of now. I love them!0

1 syn plus hexa for dinner. Not bad as it was so tasty.Thats SW, learn the HEA's and B's , free foods and speed and you will soon work out what suits YOUTonight is always danger night. Its Saturday, I dont cook a proper meal for all three of us, me and he are on the lash and its usually a Chinese or a pasta and garlic bread supper. However today I was busy all morning, straight into work and got in at just after 3. Neither wanted a Chinese so it was raid the fridge night so I made poutine - or rather a version of it the Canadians would run a mile from lol. I made a mildish curry sauce using up some onions and tomatoes, spices and a drop of water, threw in the last of the spinach , scallions and tomatoes, Mr L had some chopped up turkey and ham , we both had the Low Fat feta cubed into it - theres still a bit left so not a lot, I wanted to cube it small enough so it semi melted, Served over SW chips ( HM ones in the air fryer ) so not the skinny crunchy ones required, but it tasted really good and dirtyHes just sat and stuffed a slice of fresh cream Swiss roll on top _ GORBIm planning a roast chicken dinner for tomorrow with bacon sandwich mid day. Sundays are easy peasy here, all too busy but all home together so makes planning easier. Off then till Wednesday so I really need to look again at the books and site, I need 3lb off in 4 weeks and its getting harder now so speed all the way.1 -

Not made overnight oats for ages because have been eating hot porridge recently @NornironRose. I agree with @Longwalker on the ingredients but I usually do layers of oats, berries and yogurt repeated. It makes little difference as I always stir it up before eating anyway.
It can be a bit claggy but very filling and has the advantage over other cereal breakfasts of not using up a HEA.
There is a hot version, that I think @joedenise uses, called baked oats. Not sure if that's the same ingredients though.1 -
Baked oats is the same ingredients as overnight oats and they come out sort of cake like. There's plenty of recipes online - try the SlimmingEats website. I'm pretty certain she's got a mince pie version! Yep, found it:

@Longwalker and @NornIronRose - oats and bread are HEB (for fibre); milk and cheese HEA (for calcium).

Might give it a go if I can find a recipe that sounds ok. Really don't like ones with yoghurt and fruit.
Well, my quest for sugar puffs (or the healthier ones with honey) was futile! Went to Aldi, Asda, Co-op and Tesco.
Was grumpy when I got in so I had a Babybel light and some berries and yoghurt.
Off to bed with my usual Options to watch an episode of masterchef.
Sleep well everyone.1
