That's great news @Coxy11. That's a pay rise and the saving in time and money on travel. Result! 👍

If you have time, would you post some quantities for the SW biryani recipe. I'd like to know how much rice and liquid particularly. 🤔

Pleased to hear you managed STS @MrsPorridge. 👏👏👏 Hope you can have a good week going forward and see a loss next time.

We never seem to lose from the bits we'd like @Longwalker. ☹️ I find that when I'm getting close to the bottom of the range, my arms start to look like pipe cleaners. 🤣

We've had what passes a fairly normal day here @joedenise. Lovely and sunny to start with and then the rain started about midday and it's been on and off ever since. 🌞☔🌞☔🤣

Rather a lot of beans today for me but I knew I needed half a tin for dinner so decided to have the rest at lunch time.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- JP sweet (F), baked beans (F), pickles (S)
    D- sausage casserole (P, S, F), pasta (F)
Syns - Aldi sausages 1, weekend wine 😁

Well done for the STS @MrsPorridge

@Coxy11 Great news about the agreed salary.

A few spanners in the works regarding SW which I will work through as I go along.

Firstly I am using extra Syns as I have had to give up the WM bread items, my digestive system will just not take it without massive protest, I will still have some Ryvita and Finn Crisp and WG rice, but when I cannot live without something on toast or occasionally a sandwich it will have to be best quality baker’s white.

Also I received a phone call from GP today Sodium levels are a bit too low, retest in 2.1/2 weeks having added some salted snacks/nuts into my diet to see if this enough to fix the problem and restricting fluids to max 1.1/2 litres per day. This has worked in the past, if not more tests will be needed to try and find the problem.  It may be that when I was poorly I was drinking loads for the cough and sore throat, but at the same not having enough sodium because of very poor appetite – we will see.

Time to go and work out values for supper:- Gnocchi, ham, HM Pesto and some EHA Laughing Cow light to make it creamy, 4 veggies (3 Speed) to accompany. Later try and find the saltiest snacks for the lowest Syn values.

The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)

@maddiemay - would you be able to tolerate gluten free bread as there are some which are HEB?  It might be worth trying.
  • Can someone go through the rigmarole of being a target member ? How often do you need to go etc etc

im close to calling - I think - just need to totally understand the ins and outs. Got to be honest , money is tight but at the same time I need the accountability so I’ve got to get this right in my head

When you're at target @Longwalker, you just need to weigh every 8 weeks to maintain access to the SW website and app. The app will remind you endlessly that you need to 'weigh in today' but ignore that, it's definitely every 8 weeks. I've been doing that since I got to target. That and this thread suits me fine.

When you go to WI, if you're out of range then you have a week (grace week) to get back in or you have to pay every week until you're back in range. You don't pay for WI if you're in range.

Sorry to hear that you have a problem with salt @maddiemay. Sorry if this is a daft question, but can't you just add salt to your meals? 🤔
