  • Thanks for the encouragement folks. I am glad I paid up front for 12 weeks so I don't just give in.

Been to parkrun so I'm set up for the weekend now. Came back and just had a bowl of frozen berries, banana and nat yog.

Home from Tuscany, home from weigh in and the damage was 1lb ON - which hey, isnt so bad seeing as I went into full holiday mode last Saturday - huge scone with jam and cream after park run and pasta and garlic bread for tea, then into Dublin for the night and a couple of pints of cider as well as a burger and chip tea. I was so good in the morning for brekkie though, went for fruit and yoghurt and grilled kippers and loaded the plate with grilled tomatoes and mushrooms. But on arrival to Tuscany it was cheese, salami, breads, pasta, pizza all the way. Apart from the wedding breakfast which was the most amazing steak and salad. The dressing was unreal so obviously a zillion syns a tablespoon and they didnt hold back - nor did I :) And of course red wine, beers, white wine, champagne, cocktails - you name it it was consumed. Not in huge amounts but well out of target ( I did drink a lot of water as well )

In my favour I walked the estate each morning, in one day I walked 25k steps - and I danced for around 5 hours non stop at the wedding

So back on plan today - kind off -but definitely all systems go tomorrow - just back from lidl where my shopping was all veg and a small gammon for tomorrow and Monday. Salad drawer is full to bursting and I got a lot of chicken fillets, thighs and drumsticks from the chicken processing factory on the way through yesterday so lots of healthy speedy eating

I signed on for 6 weeks and set my target for 9.7. That gives me time to get 4lb and gives me the 3lb leeway . Im happy enough as I am clothes are loose and tbh Im looking scraggy on the cheeks now - as well as the neck, arms and belly

Ive said before how much I was doing this to get into a dress and look and feel good. I did it. I said in group today that when our daughter got married 6 years ago I wasnt in any of the photos bar the one I HAD to be in. No photos from friends, I baby sat the children, I looked after guests. This wedding as soon as we were dressed I had pictures taken of me and Mr L and I sent them to my consultant and best friends. On my phone I have maybe 20 with me in and I was in the official photographs and best of all I put myself as a guest, not the hired help. I mingled and danced and danced and danced

For those who have health issues in the family or themselves, (((((((Hugs)))))). I will catch up ASAP

That's absolutely brilliant @Longwalker - a lb on after a holiday is nothing at all!  You'll certainly lose that easily enough.  We always say when it's quick to on it's quick to come off!

It takes a long time to lose when we first start because it has taken time for us to get to the weight we are when we decide enough is enough!

Pound on after that amazing holiday is brilliant @Longwalker best of all, you sound so happy! Sounds like you had a fabulous time.

Well done on the loss @bubbs hope DH and your mum are doing OK.

Stunned to have lost a pound this morning! I got the weigh person to check as I didn’t believe her 🤣🤣 image therapy was actually quite good and I feel motivated. I also won the raffle which helps 😆😆

We’re having a taster in group next week so will need to get my thinking cap on.

Got a ham joint in the slow cooker for tomorrow and I’ll make lentil soup once it’s done, also made tomato and red pepper for the freezer. Forgot to pick up 0% gin, or any alcohol for that matter, in Morrisons so it’s an alcohol free weekend for me lol.

I think you can buy in store Denise at Nectar price without it showing on your app if you seen what I mean.
