With all the bells and whistles (and sparkles and bubbles) on! 🤣

Hopefully the phased return will work out for your DH @bubbs. I'm sure you haven't missed getting up at silly o'clock to drive him to work though. That'll be hard. ☹️

I think you first recommended the chicken flatties but they've been hanging around my freezer for so long that M&S have discontinued the garlic and herb variety so they've been removed from the SW app. We enjoyed them but tasted more of the herbs than the chicken

  • Morning all.
Sorry,  I haven't got the hang yet of mentioning everyone by name as I'd be forever scrolling and editing! But hugs and best wishes to those who need them.

Need your help please.  After my great 7.5lb weight loss in my first week,  I completely fell off the wagon yesterday.
Had a funeral with an after do yesterday and think I blew all my syns in one go with 2 quarter sandwiches and a clotted cream and jam scone. Then had our annual running club's awards dinner last night. Did have mainly chicken, a bit of rice and lots of salad but no idea what they did to the chicken cos it tasted amazing,  and dessert was ice cream with drizzled biscoff and biscoff crumbs.

And I was given a gift of a box of brownies and had one with a cuppa when I came home.

So apart from eating like a rabbit for the next 4 days before WI, any suggestions please? I will be hiding the brownies in the drawer for a start.
  • Just write yesterday off and start again today @NornIronRose, theres not one of us who haven't had a day like that, we just write it off and start afresh. Sure Im just back from Italy where bread, pizza, pasta and wine was consumed in vast amounts. I have weigh in in 10 mins , it will be what it will be :)

  • Thanks Longwalker. Will drag my butt out of bed and go to parkrun. App here I come again!

Morning all, looking very wet out there - there was heavy rain during the night but at least it's dry at the moment.  Not sure how much longer I can put the washing off for!  Think I'm going to do a load tomorrow at least as getting a bit low on T-shirts (think there's about 4 which I use at the moment, most of the other tops are ones I use when away in the sun!).

@Longwalker is right @NornIronRose, just draw the line and start again afresh this morning.  It could be worth cutting your syns back a bit to at least give yourself a chance of an STS this week but no need to you just want to carry on and then not be upset with a gain.  As @Longwalker says we've all been there and no doubt will go there again in the future.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
L - burger, onions, gherkin slices, in WM roll - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - beef stew, mash - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - WM roll
Syns - LF sausages 2; LF burger 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

I slightly fell off the wagon yesterday as well, we went to the pub for the meat raffle and I ended up eating a portion of chips as well as a few drinks.

    Back on it today

    B overnight oats (HEB)
    L scrambled eggs and spinach
D roast pork (from meat raffle) with spuds, carrots, sprouts, swede, peppers and gravy (1.5 syns)
Snacks meringue nest (2.5 syns), berries, banana and FF yoghurt
Debt free and Keeping on Track
