Anything from here which you might fancy:

Haven't looked to see what's there but there might be something which would be with your chicken in sauce.

I'd do some cubes of mini roast potatoes and add mushrooms and onions as well as peppers to the sauce. Then perhaps some broccoli on the side. 🤔

    Hi all,

Sorry for lack of posting. Was in London today. DDad has pneumonia and is back in hospital. The tumour removed from his bladder is cancerous. I’ve had over 20 voice messages from stepmum today. Just exhausting. She dropped into one of her messages that he also has emphysema - she’s known for a month and failed to mention it? Just so odd.

Food was brioche for breakfast. Freezer surprise for lunch which was a beef/mushroom/rice combo. I took satsumas, an apple and a hi fi bar to work too. Dinner was Burger in a bowl.

DH and I went to the cinema to see The Great Escaper - good film, true story - not sure I needed to see a film about old, ill people tonight though 🙄

Well done on your STS @joedenise and sorry for the gloom ☹️

It was our official weigh in day today, middle son got his 6 and a half stone award and I am now 1lb away from my 5 stone one - he lost 1.5lbs and I lost 2lbs.

It's not a lot for 3 weeks but in that time we have had three birthdays (and 3 birthday meals out...and cake!), a study residential and an ambulance called but then an agreement for my youngest son to take me to the hospital with my abdominal issue completely up the spout at the beginning of this week...oh and drugs, lots of drugs that are not always conducive for losing weight with over the last few weeks. To be honest, I was thinking at best it would be a STS so a 2lb loss is absolutely brilliant.

I don't fill in a tracker or write anything down, I know what a meal can consist of and as I have pretty much the same every day, it's not difficult. If I do go off my normal route, I stick to something that can be had for less than 5 syns...I don't have any more than that on a usual day, the rest is made up of free foods.

Middle son does track and write his down, his memory is not great and he would forget what he had for lunch within 20 minutes of having it, it's one of the reasons he got so big, he couldn't remember that he had eaten and so would eat again (he has a brain injury from his birth).

My jeans are hanging off my legs and when my tummy isn't playing up, around my waist too but I'm resisting going down to the next size as when things flare up, my tummy is not a happy place and I cannot bear to have any kind of pressure on it, even the touch of the waist band, it's just so tender to touch and the extra bagginess helps with that and means I don't have to go around with my zip undone. I would wear a dress but I haven't got any, well I have but all 4 sizes too big and I would be flashing my boobs to everyone!

We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
