Morning all,
Excellent loss @beanielou x
Good to see you back @ruby_eskimo and well done for only a 1lb gain. I'm sorry to hear of your family woes though x
My DDad is out of hospital again and things have settled down. He gets the results of the biopsy on Friday.
I WFH in the end yesterday as I couldn't motivate myself to get ready for work. Taking advantage of the flexible working while I can. Another WFH day today and in the office tomorrow. Heating is on for a short while morning and evening. I did get cold sitting still at my desk yesterday, so donned some big fluffy pink socks. Good job no-one sees them on screen.
I have an A$da delivery coming at lunchtime as we are out of veg and the fruit bowl is looking woeful too. Have also run out of Yorkshire Tea which is devastating! Have put on a few lbs so need to get my head in the game. Won't weigh this Saturday - will leave it another week! We have an 8 course meal on Saturday night courtesy of BIL for DH's birthday earlier in the year. Lord knows what that will consist of!
Food today:
B - Brioche roll - 6(!)
L - SW chicken katsu lunch bowl - free
D - smoked salmon and pea pasta - 3
HEA - milk
HEB - hi fi bar
Syns - 9

Morning all, definitely getting colder here. Lit our little ethanol fire for half hour this morning which warmed the room up a bit. Still not putting the heating on but think it's definitely the end of salad season apart from as a garnish/side dish!
Good post @Longwalker about upping Speed foods, not so much the going over syns though! Could you take something to have at lunchtime as well as before work as a small cup of soup doesn't seem very much at all and it probably contained syns as it definitely wouldn't have been made the SW way!
You don't seem to have had a lot of Speed yesterday @Coxy11 but at least what you had was on plan! Not surprised you decided to work from home yesterday, you must have been shattered.
No need to go out today to get shopping as DH needed to go out yesterday so got the bit of shopping I needed then so save going out again! Today's plan:
B - baked oats, mixed frozen fruit (defrosted), greek yoghurt - HEB, P, S, F, 0.5
L - jacket potato, tuna mayo, salad - P; S; F; 0.5
D - pasta bolognaise - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - oats
Syns - baking powder 0.5; LTL mayo 0.5
May have another 0.5 syn this evening if I decide I want a 0% G&T.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all from the plague house! I have been/still am rather poorly with a really heavy cold, and now poor OH has it. The cough is horrendous and not clearing anything. I have a condition that prevents my body making antibodies (mine come weekly via a bottle and syringes ), so I always fall hard. End of moan I have my trusty rescue ABs at hand if needed and it will pass eventually, also having a lapful of cuddly if rather large dog is lovely.
Sorry to read off those with older poorly folk @Longwalker, @bubbs, @Coxy11, sorry if I have missed anyone, congratulations to those who have lost or STS.
I will not go to WI tonight, I have been eating so little for the last week, not enough really not even fancied my beloved easy peelers, but have had a big bowl of FF yogurt with 4/5 free fruits and a wee portion of Granola, soup would be good, none in stock and not got the makings of anything I fancy.
Take care and stay warm everyone, I think we are due for deluges again tomorrow. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)1 -

Thank goodness for flexible working @Coxy11.😁
Those meals with loads of courses often have really tiny portions so it may not be as bad as you think!🤞🏼
So sorry to hear you and your DH are laid up @maddiemay. At least what you are eating sounds quite wholesome. Hope you both feel much better soon. 🤗
Like you @Longwalker, I easily slip into eating salad for breakfast when I'm in Turkey, especially their luscious tomatoes and I love their white feta style cheese.😋
When I started SW there used to be a bread that allowed 3 small slices for a HEB. I can't remember the brand but although the bread was very thin and light it let me have a slice with breakfast and then 2 left for a lunchtime sandwich. I found that if I lightly toasted the bread for the sandwich it made it more chewy and substantial. I do the same with the Neville bread or rather the Aldi Essential which is also 2 slices for a HEB.
It's a glorious day here @joedenise, 14 degrees and really sunny. I went for a walk this morning and really enjoyed the autumn feel in the air. Well done for not using the heating yet. It was so cold here yesterday that I put it on after lunch.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, banana (F), berries (S)
L- ham, egg (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- veggie chilli (P,F,S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)

Just back from a bracing walk along the beach-front! Couldn't walk on the actual beach as the waves were so high and coming over the top so we stayed on the grassy bit! It was blowing an absolute hooley! Could have done without walking so far really but definitely needed to get out for a walk as not been for a while.
Our living room is still reasonably warm at 19 degrees so still no need for heating! Although have to admit to putting on thick hiking socks last night for bed as it really felt quite cold - my feet were definitely still warm this morning so glad I put them on. Will probably do the same again tonight!
It's Kingsmill no crusts bread (400g loaf) which is 3 slices for HEB. Have to say I much prefer having 2 large slices of the Morrisons bread to having 2 small slices although would make a good Club Sandwich with 2 different fillings!

Glad you enjoyed your walk @joedenise. It sounds bracing! 🤣
It wasn't the Kingsmill though. It was some sort of WW type Danish loaf?? 🤔 I agree that 2 large slices is much better.
The other thing I used to eat were some very hard rolls/biscuits. I think they might have been Danish too, maybe Krisprolls? I used to take a bag of those to Turkey for breakfast to keep me off their delicious fresh white bread. 😋2 -
Evening all
Sorry bit late today been busy.
What about scan bran 🤣🤣🤣 teeth breakers.

I won't stop eating salad 😂 i have it all weathers.
