Morning all, we decided to come home last night instead of this morning. Seems daft paying for an extra day when we weren't going to be going anywhere today, we were just going to leave after breakfast. We got home about 8 o'clock. I didn't really sleep very well last night and woke up at 4.30 this morning to go to the loo and then couldn't get back to sleep so ended up getting just over an hour later! Think I might need a kip this afternoon but we'll see!
We ate out yesterday lunchtime and I chose fairly sensibly - had liver, bacon, mash, onions, carrots, cabbage, peas and a little gravy - not much more than a tablespoonful! Couldn't actually eat the carrots and peas as they just weren't cooked enough and could hardly get a fork into them! I enjoyed the carrots though. Didn't have a drink with it as it was a little family run cafe which didn't have a licence. Besides which we'd had plenty the night before!!!
Back on plan today:
B - fry up - Bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, LF sausages - P; S; F; 2
L - burger, onions, mixed leaves, gherkin slices in soft pitta - HEB; S; 0.5
D - 100g rolled breast of lamb, roast potatoes, roasted carrots, peppers, onions, beetroot, butternut squash; broccoli, green beans, petit pois - S; F; 5
HEA - milk
HEB - soft pitta
Syns - LF sausages 2; LF burger 0.5; 100g lamb 5
Have totted up my syns and now only have 23.5 left until Wednesday. Definitely doable as shouldn't need too many for meals. Just need to leave the cheese and water biscuits alone! (ate quite a few over the weekend with some really lovely cheddar from a cheese maker and not the SM).
Have a good day everyone.

@Longwalker thanks for sharing. Also that toastie sounds delicious and what a lovely treat.
@joedenise glad you had a good break.
I'm back in the zone today. I've made two batches of veggie soup - I'm finding its the only way really that I can eat lots of veggies and it makes a really nice lunch.
Breakfast was 2 scrambled eggs with a wholemeal muffin HEB
Lunch was veggie soup
dinner will be jacket spud (and its a monster), with tuna may (2tbls of lighter than light mayo) 2 syns and 40g reduced cheddar HEA.
Other HEA is milk.
Snack will be a Tunnocks teacake (5 syns) and pudding will be meringue nest 2.5 syns with berries, banana and ff nat yoghurt
I carefully weighed and measured the cheese and mayo.Debt free and Keeping on Track1 -
The soups are a great way of having vegetables @MrsPorridge, especially as the weather gets colder. I'm not sure if you find all veggies difficult but try some of these.
If you like pasta sauces made with tomatoes, I make a very simple one with garlic, onion and basil in passata which is brilliant with meatballs. That's almost 100 % Speed and syn free. If you like Bolognese then add some extra veg to the meat, onion and tomatoes. You'd find carrots or courgettes (grated if necessary) wouldn't alter the taste at all.
I'd chop some spring onions or raw red onion into the tuna mayo with your JP. I don't like tinned tomatoes (other than in a sauce) but I've found that microwaving fresh, cherry tomatoes for a couple of minutes softens them nicely to go alongside the scrambled eggs.
I eat loads of pickles. I have 4 jars on the go at the moment - beetroot, cornichons, pickled cabbage and really sweet sliced red onions from Aldi. 😋 I noticed that the garnish with my pub lunch on Thursday was just rocket with these red onions scattered on the top, easy but healthy.
Most fruits are Speed too but vegetables are better as not so much sugar in them.
It was only a short break but at least you got to try out the fridge @joedenise. 👍
Thanks for the heads up on the air fryers @bubbs and @Longwalker. 😊
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, fried egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), prawns (P), salad and pickles (S)
D- HB steak (P, S), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns - mayo 2.5, weekend wine 😁1 -
@MrsPorridge - the Lighter than Light mayo is only 0.5 syn per Tablespoon so it's only 1 syn not 2 for your tuna mayo.
@maman - the fridge worked perfectly whilst parked up but unfortunately it wouldn't switch to 12 volt when travelling like it's supposed to so going to have to get the engineer back or if he can't get to us anytime soon DH said he'll drive down to his workshop as it's only about an hour away.

It's annoying that the MH fridge isn't sorted properly yet @joedenise but at least you weren't far from home so good that you found out with no food spoiled.
The Tower T17023 was given as Best Buy in my newspaper on Friday @bubbs. That's £50 in Argos. Which model were you thinking of? 🤔1 -
Evening all
Denise that was a bummer about the fridge 😥
I have no problems with veg 🤣🤣 but Mrs P that's a good way to get it in soup.
Maman i want a dual not a single , but thanks 😘
Mum is not well now 😥 she ended up at A&E they are saying a water infection (she said i thought oh no this is how your dad started 😥), but since the doctor put her on some tablets she has not been well, like she said i know i like my sleep but 10.30-9.30 every day is ridiculous amount plus falling asleep when she sits down. She said she is feeling better today from not taking the tablets, but will ring the doctor in the morning.
Food today
Egg wraps with LM sausages and mushrooms, tomato
Mega roast 😋😋 pork, brussels, carrots, cauli, broc, mashed sweded all speed, 2 syns yorkies and 4 syns gravy 😋😋
